My wierd lag issue on TF2

I believe I have a fix for this. I've been going into Offline practice and playing that for a few minutes or just sit and Idle. After a few minutes or so I guess it's "warmed up" and allows you into online servers and play no problem for however long you please.

If not then I feel your pain, had the same problem on an HP laptop. Had something to do with the crap cooling on the gpu and cpu.

have you tried cleaning th inside of your pc from dust?? it fixed my problem if the problem is in the ping then contact your ISP and yell at them because they're internet sucks and get a better internet :D

First of all idiot, dust doesnt have to do with shit..

And second, FPS doesn't depend on internet connection..

1. if your internet connection sucks you start lagging in online games.

2. if there is too much dust in your computer the fan cant cool the CPU which causes overheating and lag.

This is bullcrap. This never used to happen to me. It recently just started and it's pissing me off. My Ping stays quite low but Im still lagging like crazy.

I set all Graphics to lowest as possible but no change in lag. It's really annoying.

Me thinks I might have to reinstall TF2 >:(

i usually just put it all low like in the options put low everything and i get 19 or 20 thru 30 .. so try that and run it windowed modee.. on 800x600 then it will get better

Your graphics card may not support the cloak effect,

if you have a laptop set it to high performance and maybe try defragging tf2 that should help
