Amazing tribute! The episode literally ripped my heart out, I can agree with you on that! I sobbed during the Alona-Samantha scene... so sad, they performed flawlessly, and I think they've reached the Supernatural Top Ten moments. They better have, at any rate!

.I never really liked Jo, but having said that I didn't hate her in that last episode. She went out as a hero and my heart actually broke at the way she went. Seeing her and Ellen like that. I think any mother would have done what she did. You never ever leave your children. I also agree on the way you view her and Dean. I think he did care about her, he just wasn't in love with her. I would have hated the idea of them together for that reason but I will also be sad to see Ellen AND Jo go .

Jo had her moments, and I miss Jo and Ellen terribly--and I hurt for Dean because I really do feel like he lost two more of his family members and that's gonna have to be carried with him for the rest of it all.

I think any mother would have done that too--you just don't leave your children.

If that is the end, then you go out with them...I'm gonna miss Ellen more I think.

It's in Dean's nature to bury everything, so he prolly won't ever bring it up, but you never know, Sammy could pry it out of him.

It IS Supernatural, but Eric has a habit of never bringing back the women that have actually died.

Anna never actually died--she was carted off to be executed and anything could have happened in between then and 2010 when she comes back.

The women stand no choice, which is what made it even more sad for me.

I felt that he was attracted to her but thought of her as more of a friend. The way he stares at her at the end, between the forehead kiss and the kiss on the lips is kinda like, "...huh" Almost like he didn't realize that maybe his feelings were deeper than he originally thought. I don't think he was in love with her or anything. It was just so tragic, like "if only....", like there was a potential there that wouldn't be explored. That's the vibe I got from it.

They were really close and I think he realized in the end that he never should have taken her for granted, but they were just a beautiful friendship.

I was waiting for this since I saw your tweet. Glad you used that song, it suits the feel of the video. And to put my two cents in (and responding to your well made points):

1) AGREED - Dean has so much guilt he's carrying around already and add this, I feel so bad for him - no one should have to see so many people die for you, not to mention the whole first seal thing :(

2) first time I didn't actually mind Jo. S2 she was too forced.

I honestly NEVER saw chemistry between her and Dean. I was at the verge of tears when he kissed her on the forehead but at the same time felt like, although to me it is clear they were just friends, the kiss on the lips/Dean's face when the photo was burning/the close up on Jo in the photo was like Kripke too, knew they were friends but maybe in the back of his head still wanted her as a love interest for Dean. But yes, I do think Dean loved her but wasn't IN love with her.

4) Love Crowley, Castiel and Lucifer in that episode. I was crying when Lucifer was talking to Sam close to the end - Jared's acting was very moving. His face on the verge of tears? So full of emotions! And can I say, I want Bobby to be OK - he needs to be!

5) New Meg is OK in my books. I can bare the sight of her.

6) Yet again, I agree. I don't follow interviews/convention videos with Kripke, but I have the feeling (if S5 is the last season) there was no hope for the Winchesters from the start. And if the show must end - I'll stock up on tissues for that day - I'm okay with them going out heroically (though it doesn't mean I want them to).
