In some battles you start with a small army yet decent in size. Send that army imediatelly to the enemy base, the enemy don't have the time to build an army, even if he would the resources. I winned plenty battles very fast in this way, like 2-3-5-6 minutes. Try it and than come to tell me how it worked.
can someone tell me in full detail, how to add the vietnam mod to RoN? i download it then it has all these folders saying tribe, art, mods, etci extract them all and put them to my RoN original folder ( i have TaP too, but i thought i had to put it on the original first) then i put it to TaP it shows up where i save it, but when i go to load it it just goes to another part to load something then again then nothing and i cant play as the vietnamese in quick play or select the mod or anythinghelp?
does anyone happen to know how i can get or play as the swiss, vietnamese, and other nations from the campiagns? or you just cant play as them no matter what?

I conquered all the Planet in this game in less than one hour, considering that some gamers (like my friend for example) needed more than a hour to win a single battle(well it was a batle for capital), I am a frequing GENIUS.
My strategy is ultra-simple, my army march un-organizated (the cavalry is sent alone in order to reach the enemy faster), THE REST OF THE army march also through the enemy base!
It may be hader to explain, I need a screen recorder!!!!
My favorite age has to be the Industrial Age... The weapons are simple, no nukes.... No 30 ton bombers... Simple tanks and Bolt Action rifles... Its fun to let the smaller nations trade with you... I feel pity for their poor choice of diplomacy if they dont :D
You have really low resource income. is this a scenario or did you just kill all your citizens to get population room? and i agree with Demonboi, i like playing up to classical age.

@MrPwnpro Also, if you want to play multiplayer on vista (as in, over the internet using gamespy), what you do is update it (after installation, to do this go on multiplayer) and once it downloads, turn off your wireless network connection. If you're playing on a laptop like i am then there should be a button for it. It won't properly patch if you don't turn off your connection. Then you should be ready to play multiplayer!
Is there a way to change your color in conquer the world? Its getting boring playing as red.

In some games you can receive since begening a small army. All you have to do is to send that army to the enemy base as fast as you can!
The enemy have just one city or two(depends on your mobility). The point is, he don't ahve time to make troops, to build an army or a base.
This is how I winned this game in less than a hour.
Others needed a day or two or more.

this game is the shit cuz you start from the classic age to information age and you get nukes ^-^ totally tits and there is no other game like this. so in my opinion i think Rise of Nations is kick ass and the best strategy game out there. ^-^ i need to get thornes and patriots that looks fucking 10x better then the original :D

@MrPwnpro Also, if you want to play multiplayer on vista (as in, over the internet using gamespy), what you do is update it (after installation, to do this go on multiplayer) and once it downloads, turn off your wireless network connection. If you're playing on a laptop like i am then there should be a button for it. It won't properly patch if you don't turn off your connection. Then you should be ready to play multiplayer!
