yorkshire, after the hendo fight wandy went on record saying he wanted the rest of the year off. after the purchase of pride dana offered september or november for wandy to fight chuck. wandy chose november. wandy has fought strikers like mark hunt and cro cop lol, what in the world makes you think wandy would duck chuck.

after reading about him giving the statement about taking the year off i will take back what i said, but it seemed a little suspicious at the time considering Chuck had just had the biggest loss of his career and was ready to fight, yet Silvas camp said no. I hate when people say it was luck!!! Look CHUCK HAS HEAVY HANDS!!! He can place a punch real well thats why he can dominate. It's not luck because bottom line he is a great striker. And Rampage's punch wasn't lucky either. Chuck never ever throws body shots and his trainers tell him not to because there not effective and the one time he does he gets caught for it. It's Not Luck. That belly is not a beer belly. It is a distended belly, and it could be from training or even constipation.
Either way, Chuck and his trainer Hackleman, both stated that Chuck was in the best condition of his life, they both stated that he was 100% coming into this rematch.
Those are actual statements made by both Chuck and John Hackleman.

there is no way in hell that is a distended belly. if you look at chucks earlier fights, when he first started in the UFC, the guy had abdomen that could take a beating. besides,even though he said 100 percent, and no one can tell him differently, he could have thought so mentally that he was prep. but the way his body looked, i mean, it just makes me wonder

This was not the only time that Rampage Jackson beat Chuck Liddell.
This was a rematch to the fight in PrideFC in 2003, where Rampage, yet again beat Chuck, by clearly outstriking Chuck on the feet before finishing him on the ground, beating Chuck badly, forcing Hackleman to throw in the towel to prevent Chuck from real serious injuries.

Chuck got dicked in PRIDE, I saw it, you saw it, we all saw it. I know he said he had a torn ACL in that match in 03, but a torn ACL does not affect the amount of times you get punched in the face. But go back and look at Liddell/Rampage 2, and watch as Rampage throws that hook, he is not looking when he throws it, the connection was just fortunate. Saying that, and reading the pre-fight press, you can contest that Liddell was not in any way fully prepared

Not only was Rampage looking at Chucks face when he landed that (supossed lucky punch) as you say, but to take credit away from Jackson for that punch, would be the same as saying that all Chucks victories by KO, were merely lucky as well. Even though a couple were.

And it was not only Chuck that said he was in his best shape for the Rampage Jackson rematch, but his trainer Hackleman, before and after the fight.
Its simple, Chuck was beat by a better fighter.

Yes, I have read the information about Chucks supposed partying, and all the information states that Chuck does go to clubs, but he doesnt drink alchahol when he is training for a fight, or right before a fight.
Chuck and his trainer Hackleman have not made excuses, like these lame excuses, so none of his fans should either.

he had a torn ACL in 03, everyone knows. He was in poor shape compared other fights, and watch the rampage punch, HES NOT LOOKING AT THE START of the swing. Im not using the punch as an excuse cos Rampage was always on the front foot in that fight, and he did nail Chuck in PRIDE, but call a guy that beat Ortiz twice, Couture twice, Babalu, and Jeremy Horn, as overrated just doesnt figure for me. I admit, Im a Liddell fan and I accept he is not one of the top 5, he is definitely a quality fighter

Chuck isnt close to Fedor IMO so i see your gripe there. You get the people who know nothing about it praising the likes of Liddell/Ortiz, simply because they were the in-names at the time. Its the same here in the UK with Ricky Hatton in boxing. Ive heard different things about the leg in PRIDE, as bad as an injury like that is, its still no excuse for takin that many punches to the face like he did. Id love to see him fight some quality PRIDE fighters like Shogun/Arona/Hendo
