I know that Thunderbird will work on x64 but what about enigmail to encrypt? Thanks for looking into this, Ive searched and and have seen multiple problems with Cleopatra on x64 so, I am reluctant to ditch Outlook.
@SuperCoding Yes Enigmail worked just fine for me on x64, both sending & recieving encrypted mail. I used GPA btw... But Kleopatra seems to work aswell.
I have tested them both now without any problems and I can not see any reason for Kleopatra not working because a 64-bitcomputer can run 32-bit programs as good as a 32-bit one. If you encounter problems: Use GPA instead...

I meant to ask, are you using x32 or x64? I've heard that you cant get enigmail and Kleopatra to work on x64....

@SuperCoding I use the x86 Windows 7 Ultimate (32-bit) and Mozilla Thunderbird 8.0 and Enigmail 1.3.3.
I do not know about this not working on x64 version of Windows 7... I can check though because my laptop runs x64...

@SuperCoding Did you delete your comment on purpose or by accident? I got it in an email anyway. And I think it is a good idea!
