It was 8-16-77 that Johnny performed and made many mourners happy for they thought "No covering our hearts ... our eyes ... Elvis Presley has not died." The rest was history and Johnny became Elvis to quite a lot of people.

I just received the honor of getting to play guitar for johnny on patriots day (9/11/10) to a packed house let me tell you this man CAN SING And he proved ( not that he had to) he still has it. The man did My Way and Oh My God Ive Never heard anything like that anywhere from anybody. Im looking forward to working with johnny in the future as our Band will be performing with him on a regular basis.

Johnny (Elvis said, "Here in Las Vegas with one of MY doctor's here...I mean, with one of the doctors here. Elvis was nervous. If wasn't ON, and performing, he could be caught off guard. Listen to the clip! Ole Bill sort chuckles as he shakes his hand. He knows exactly who he is. Then he does damage control, "Yeah. And that was one of Elvis' doctors."

Actually imho the best at the time is a little known singer named Dale Culbertson. You can see pictures of him by looking up Larry Blong. He had a voice much stronger than Harra's. Nobody seems to know what happened to him.
