Last time I did this level, I did everything pretty well and I only had to backtrack for a small key once. I actually remembered to go get the boss key. However, I completely ignored the giant blue treasure chest and destroyed the jars behind it for fairies so I had to go back to that little room X_X

I'm so glad you're back!

Whenever I go through the water temple, I always skip opening the central locked door on the bottom floor to have an extra key. You can bypass that door and get into the central tower if you warp out of the temple, go back in and jump down to the second floor in the center. Then you can use your arrows and light the torch there with the lit one that's there. Of course, the water has to be drained all the way to raise it in the center to get the key at the bottom.

Such bad memories of this. This temple is the reason that I never completed this game. To tell the truth I recently played it on an emulator (I believe it's legal, since the N64 has been discontinued. If not, please tell me, and I'll immediately delete all my roms), and I have spent HOURS in that place. Whenever I get back home (I'm at my grandparent's home ATM), I'll use this section of your LP of awesome to finally complete the goddamn game.

The tektites on Death Mountain are regular, weaker tektites. The ones in the water temple are water tektites, which can jump on water and take more damage.
