@AtheistSweden I didn't know that there are also sexual criterias for entering the club. Secondly, which part of Europe are you talking about? As far as I know southern and eastern european still has very bad records about homosexuality. Furthermore, most of the European Catholics doesn't look good on sex before marriage and abortion. If sexuality and individual freedom is important (it is for me) why did MALTA joined the club while abortion and divorce is still officially illegal over there ?

@AtheistSweden Yes freedom about homosexuality and sexuality, and in general, all individual freedoms are important but we are pretty bored of the people who says Europe is a miracle for all freedoms. If you make a small research you'll see that Europe still has a very deep rooted homophobia, conservatism is still alive in Europe, neo-nazi movements and far right movements are still rising and hate-crimes are still high. And we still have to work to make Europe and all the world a better place.

@AtheistSweden Together with that you have to follow the Turkish politics better. The Turkish state finally accepted the truth that the Kurdish rights has to be improved. Now the Kurds has their own TV, they can speak Kurdish freely, they can publish Kurdish books, and many more. It's not perfect but it'll be better soon. p.s. I'm an atheist too, since all religions are based on generalizations we should be the first to avoid making them.Generalizations are naturally irrational and stereotyped.

@AtheistSweden you speak as though Europe has an excellent past. There are also many people opposing homosexuality in Europe. Turkey is becoming more and more free and democratic day by day. It is true that previous Turkish governments wanted to assimilate Kurds but know things are changing thanks God. And nowadays Turkey is struggling with terrorists who are fed by many Europian countries.
