I think the reason some people don't like there being so many in the series is because at the end of the day, what we are seeing is very shocking, sadistic realism and people eventually become desensitized to it. Which is why when something terrible happens in real life, you start thinking, "But why do I feel no emotion?" The films are very entertaining but if this kind of thing becomes a trend it could be damaging.

Dude, the REAL reason why we don't like these films is because it's crap over and over and over again. Jigsaw kidnaps someone, he plays a sick game with them, some live, some die, the end. There's very little storyline after the first one, and from there it's just different ways of people dying. How is that scary?

Saw III sucks! I saw the first movie of this triology and was so impressed that i started seeing the second one. After seeing it i was really disappointed. As in the last movie the brutality seems to be the most important aspekt. After seeing the first one, i wasn't impressed by all the blood and screaming. I mostly liked the story and the message of the movie.
