Happy new year! OEO is 6% and Ola Dubh is 8% so I'm not certain. You could well be right. OEO is a great beer!

Nice side by side review. I did this back in the Summer and it was really neat to compare them together. You can definitely taste/smell some of the same things. I'd like to compare the 20 or 30 year but I couldn't afford the Scotch, it's damn expensive!

Sounds like a good beer. I like those whiskey barrel aged brews. Not a fan of whiskey (or liquor in general for that matter).

Man you were quick off the block on this one!! It's a great beer. I want to try some of the others, the 30 and 40.

I'll shoot a few in Cali if I can. I plan to do one with Pliny the Elder and Younger, if I get them.
