We have a Coke factory here that makes and bottles Coke but the Pepsi is imported from the U.S. The Coke here is just really syrupy and it doesn't quench your thrist while the Pepsi tastes better and it quenches your thirst. I think they may just put too much sugar in the soda when they make the Coke at the factory here. I'd have to taste some imported Coke before I really made up my mind brtween the two....

We did a blind taste test in my high school about several sodas, and yes there is a difference in taste. I don't remember the exact percentages, but out of 90 or so students, Pepsi was the most commonly liked as "best tasting" Big K Cola was 2nd, Coke was 3rd, and RC Cola was 4th.

Now whether this proves which is best is up for debate, but people can definitely tell the difference.
