@n4sir804 My dealer had one with a Yamaha 90, so glad I went with the 115. I wish the boat was rated for a 150, but the 115 is as big as the hull is rated for...
@n4sir804 Trust me, you don't want an e-tec. I had one, along with all the problems it came with, and everyone as problems with them (around here at least.)
Ken, this is a great boat! So happy with it. It's rock steady! The front deck is enormous.
I got it equipped with a Maxxum 70lb thrust 24v trolling motor. The 115 ETEC is the largest it can be outfitted with. I don't think the boat would be as good with the 90. I haven't been in any seriously rough water with it, but it cuts through waves nicely. Still running the stock aluminum prop, and trying to find the sweet spot with the RPM's and trim.
How do you find the boat overall? Stable platform? Good when the water kicks up? I've been seriously consdiering one of these for a year now if I can find one at the right price. The boats are cheaply priced but don't seem cheaply made. I currently own a mid 90s Nitro 17ft'er and looking for something slightly larger. This seems like a good candidate.
do you no what prop you run

No GPS on board, but with just me this past Saturday I saw 55 on the dash speedo. That's the fastest I've seen so far. I'm guessing high 40's maybe.
