As genuine loving parents, the last thing they would want is for Maddieto wake up in an apartment scared to find them not there, being medically competent they administer something to keep her from waking. Something they have done often. Nothing will bring Maddie back. As loving parents they have to fabricate a story to protect the twins from being taken from them. It may have been different if maddie was an only child, perhaps then Kate and gerry would admit their guilt

what parent in their right mind would leave their children alone.especially in a foreign country. I can't help but think the father is involved. He went to check on her, she was crying or grizzling,which can be stressful and overwhelming on a parent especially one that wants to hurry up and get back to drinking with their friends. If you imagine yourself in the Fathers shoes and finding your daughter dead through falling, ect... the panic would be immense, you wouldn't think to phone an ambulance, all rational and sensible thoughts would have been forgotten. The fact they used medicines to help the children sleep would have caused him to think they had a part to play in her death, and as a result, he / they needed to cover up her 'disappearance'...

There is something that is not mentioned in this video: When Kate found out that Maddie was missing, she first called Sky News and only then, the police. Here, in Portugal, some say that it is normal for british people to call the press instead of the police but i'm not sure that's true. In here, it is absolutely unthinkable...
I'm British, the first thing to do in any emergency is to call "999" which is our emergency services number. If this story is true that she called the press first, that is incredibly damning.
I just don't know what to think about it...about all this case... I have this strong feeling that Maddy is not alive, even She was abducted for some other reasons, She was murdered because of all that mess around this case. I pray for Her. I have douhter, she is going to be 5 this year, she is so sweet and loving, little miracle - if something like that has happened to my child i wolud rather die than live without Her.

Thanks to anotheroneforjustice for hosting the documentary. You can't silence Dr Amaral, he has based his book and documentary on facts presented to him during his time working on the case. I believe his hypothesis is correct, the dogs found cadaver odour and blood, and although the DNA results were not 100% conclusive they are enough when put together with all the other evidence to come to the entirely right conclusion that Madeleine McCann died in that apartment and her body concealed.
Now, what I also find interesting is that no one even says anything about the twins. How old are they? Can they speak? Is it possible for Maddie to fall and the twins don't see anything? Especially after the hysteria and the body-dragging by the parents... or in case of abduction, not hear anything. But of course, if the twins are too young, they are "silent witnesses". I feel sorry for them for having such parents. And what I find the most disturbing: the behaviour of the parents, kind of fake
They where sleeping all the time. In fact, when the police arrived, and despite all the noise in the room, with their parents crying, the police looking around and manny people speaking, they remained sleeping.
@manpildo one hypothesis concerning the twins, if true the ingestion of that tranquilizer, makes their statement not possible brcause of that - they were "sedated" therefore they were sleeping and didn't saw anything
but I don't think they got hunted by paparazzis so badly... especially during the night. And if Maddie really did bump her head and fall on the ground, wouldn't the mother have called the ambulance right away? On a second thought, she is a doctor (right?) and could herself give first aid and see if she's dead or not. And what does "we've let her down" mean? According to them, this is what the mother said at first to Gerry. Perhaps a drug overdose.. this sentence shows she felt responsible.
The car was rented, so the body smell could have been from the previous renters. Although this doesn't explain the DNA of Maddie found (23 days after disappearance?). Gerry McCann said he felt somebody's else presence in the room when he was there, then why didn't he check it? Of course he was most likely a bit drunk and could have done a million things differently than sober, but I doubt it.
And many of you say they couldn't have disposed the body by car because of paparazzis, but...
If the McCann's were a working class family they would be in jail a long time ago.

If you don't think that's reason enough to all the lies, just ask yourself where the parents were at the time of the accident and what do they do for a living. What is the motive for killing the child?
Goncalo Amaral is very careful not to say 'why the McCann's killed their daughter, in fact he steers it towards an accident...which makes it even MORE fanciful to suggest they covered up an accidental death.
The leap to go from 'negligent parents' to 'criminals concealing the death of their own child' is not insignificant.
You obviously didn't watch this since there is a plain reenactment of the incident according to what Amaral believes that Medeleine died from falling from the sofa.
As a side note, any parent who uses a drug as a substitute for a babysitter in order to enjoy a night out should have their children taken away.

Ok, here's a theory. Part 1: The McCann's had sedated Maddie with something much stronger than Calpol (laughable). They're both doctors and the mother was a GP so could easily get hold of stronger stuff. This would have shown up on toxicology if Maddie had died of over-sedation or suffocation behind the sofa.
It was MONTHS before they agreed to having the twins blood tested for sleeping drugs !!MONTHS ,still to this day they have not allowed the Portuguese police to see Maddies medical records ? nothing to hide? no stone unturned?
Part 2: Also, as in the case of Shannon Matthews, a history of sedating the child would show up on hair analysis. The manslaughter of their child would have been the end of the McCanns both personally and professionally so Gerry decided to dispose of the body and Kate went along with it (due to their ?psychopathic personalities).
Part 3: Their behaviour at the time of the "disappearance" was bizarre at best. Which mother in the world wouldn't be screaming her child's name from the balcony and all around the complex trying to find her? Unless, of course, she knew Maddie was already dead...

ask the gary to tell all the routes he used that car. then find out how many kilometres that makes overall. and find out if those kilometres match the cars kilometres. if there's like 50+ km. more than it should be. than that is the range u should look for the body, 25km obviously..
if the excact kilometres match what he is telling.. then i believe they are innosent..
find out all the places, roads, markets, every route. everything where that couple has use the car! from time they rent it and the the time it was returned.
Re strange behaviours in this case, why did Clarence Mitchell resign from a secure, lucrative goverment position, to become a media spokesman for a family whose only source of income to pay his fees was a fund reliant on continuous public donations.
Also if the Madeleine had been abducted as the McCanns claim & then been found, perhaps days later, then the media circus would have ended and Mr Mitchell would have been rendered redundant after resigning from a top job.
I wish Senhor Goncalo Amaral & his family all the best. I hope we here in the UK get to read his book, eventually. Last time I checked, this was a free country where we can believe what we want. Mr. Amaral should have shown individual timelines in a more graphic way. That would have pointed to inconsistencies in both the parents version and his.
I have several problems with the whole thing. If the girl did fall and parents covered up, where was the father going with the body? If he dumped it in the ocean, then how could blood show up in a car they rented later? That means that if the body was hidden in the closet, which the dogs indicate, the man/child seen across town was NOT McCann.

I don't see why the suspected use of Calpol is a problem. It's a very common medicine available over the counter, used to relieve mild pain and fever. It's safe to use on children from birth and I don't see how it could be used as a sedative??? I take a bottle on holiday with me in case my daughter gets sunburn, upset stomach etc...The use of Calpol would not be a reason to cover up the accident....
I don't get it...Calpol is a very mild medicine that can be used from birth. It relieves mild pain and fever, it's very commonly used in the U.K. and is available over the counter, I wouldn't see how it would have sedated her or why it would have reflected negatively on Kate & Gerry if she were found to have it in her system at the time of the suggested fall???
Come on - what reason would Kate and Gerry have to hide the fact that Maddie died in the appartment, then decide to hide it - and how could a father then go and dump her in the sea - This prooves nothing to me, you are gonna have different versions from witnesses when there are lots of people. When would Gerry have had time to go dump maddie.

unfortunately, i think Gonçalo Amaral only says it was an accident because he cannot proove Maddie's parents killed her, but i belive he thinks kate killed her accidentally. A british neighbour not mentioned in this video, reported she heard kate shouting to the kids that night and that she was really upset.
Thanks for the post. It's a very interesting documentary. Amaral's motives might be questioned, but his facts have a logic. The traslation subtitles are not quite right in a couple of instances - as if they were done by a Portuguese translator who translated some it too literally - but it doesn't matter. The politics' interference and Mitchell - spokesperson for Gordon Brown too - are annoying but not surprising; politics is always about interfering with people's lives, & with the truth

This doesn't mean he reached the beach,and/or that he trow the body in the sea.There are stairs and houses between the beach and the place he was seen by the Smiths.The world & media were not watching them on the night of the 4th of May,in which,according to GNR statements,the McCanns were seen in the street twice (around 3am and 7am).They even asked the GNRs about the church

Drugging your children so you can party with friends and then dumping her body after you find her dead is bad enough, but going around the world asking for pity while you pretend to be innocent speaks volumes about the state of mind of these people. They had were involved. They probably wanted her to go to sleep. And gave her a dose of something to help her sleep but accidently gave her to much. But then it wouldnt explain the blood particals they found?

(speculation ahead) Maybe the eventual drug given was still on moderate effect and therefore little Maddie could awake, go to the window with less conscient control of her movements and steps. But why isn't anybody trying to figure out what happened with the body? Let's say that yes, they undercovered her accidental death, but the question is: where did they take the body? I think this is the most important aspect.
Even if they hid the body somewhere on that night, it must have been undiscovered for 23 days or whatever [as thats when the scent of death was in the boot of the car the mccann's hired.] I dunno how they'd have moved the body either without a photographer or someone spotting them.
Given the nature of the paparazzi, You would think that the McCanns would find it impossible to move a body. Could it be possible that someone else drove the car and retrieved and performed a disposal.

What an excellent video, I always thought that the parents had involvement in Maddie's disappearance. If I am wrong then I feel very sorry for them but there seems to be so much evidence to the contrary. I hope in time the truth will come out and that an innocent little girl can rest in peace.

Jane claims to have seen the abducter. He supposedly abducted her, leaving both the window and the door opened (according to Kate), yet the other couple who checked on the children later failed to notice this. Come on! Jane would have known that the man she allegedly saw wasn't the abducter!

I think Jane got mixed up with direction of the man - easily done. I think they should have examined the possibility that it WAS the same man carrying a child and even looked at the possibility of a person leaving the apt. with a corpse. Was the blood behind the sofa a clue to how he got it & out?? Could he have hidden in the apt. somewhere before leaving (if one of the parents came home?)

yes the possibility of she being abducted by someone else was taken into account.. this is a short documentary.. not all of the investigation is shown here! a lot was done before they turned to the mccanns! this man spotted by jane was investigated.. over and over..! and for weeks people looked for him effortlessly.. I haven't read other people's comments yet so please forgive me if i repeat something that has already been mentioned.. but, i'm confused why Maddie's DNA was in the car.. why would it be if Gerry was seen carrying Maddie's body towards the sea? Did he put her in the car then put her in the sea? also in the previous videos,the man suggested the mccanns hid maddie in the cupboard and behind the sofa, how would they have enough time? i'm confused.. didnt police search the entire apartment?!
the car was rented by the mccanns several days after maddie's disappearence.. by the same time they went to spain to 'spread the message' about her child and to post missing flyers on spanish cities.. there is no reason why maddies dna could have been found in that car.. since all the girls belongings were in police custody.. no reason other then the girl being there after she disappeared! blood dosn't climb onto a car trunk on its own!
I am just struggling to understand how the McCann's would do this.. Apparantly Gerry carried Maddie towards the beach.. but after the disappearance, police searched the beach. Then Maddie's blood was found in the hire car.. how did it get there? how did the mccann's do it? Wouldn't photographers have been following them 24/7? What is interesting is how the documentary doesn't discuss the possibility that someone had a master key (or at least a copy) for the flat. Didn't someone at the resort report that someone had entered their room without actually breaking in?
From what I've read online then Madeline would have to be dead by the sofa for an hour and a half plus for the cadaver 'scent of death' smell to be produced (and thus be detectable by Eddie - the sniffer dog). Then, the body would perhaps be found by someone who then panics and initially places the body in a cupboard on the spur of the moment, but then immediately decides to remove the body (perhaps hide the body somewhere by the beach until at a later date it can be taken somewhere else?)
exacly.. and that is what is stated on the documentary! the maccan allegations about the time they took watching over their children and the alcohol they had ingested that night were also found to be false.. as well as the number of checks they made that night.. now seen as clean up trips!

As genuine loving parents, the last thing they would want is for Maddieto wake up in an apartment scared to find them not there, being medically competent they administer something to keep her from waking. Something they have done often. Nothing will bring Maddie back. As loving parents they have to fabricate a story to protect the twins from being taken from them. He went to check on her, she was crying or grizzling,which can be stressful and overwhelming on a parent especially one that wants to hurry up and get back to drinking with their friends. If you imagine yourself in the Fathers shoes and finding your daughter dead through falling, ect... the panic would be immense, you wouldn't think to phone an ambulance, all rational and sensible thoughts would have been forgotten. The fact they used medicines to help the children sleep would have caused him to think they had a part to play in her death, and as a result, he / they needed to cover up her 'disappearance'...

Thanks to anotheroneforjustice for hosting the documentary. You can't silence Dr Amaral, he has based his book and documentary on facts presented to him during his time working on the case. I believe his hypothesis is correct, the dogs found cadaver odour and blood, and although the DNA results were not 100% conclusive they are enough when put together with all the other evidence to come to the entirely right conclusion that Madeleine McCann died in that apartment and her body concealed.

Now, what I also find interesting is that no one even says anything about the twins. How old are they? Can they speak? Is it possible for Maddie to fall and the twins don't see anything? Especially after the hysteria and the body-dragging by the parents... or in case of abduction, not hear anything. But of course, if the twins are too young, they are "silent witnesses". And if Maddie really did bump her head and fall on the ground, wouldn't the mother have called the ambulance right away? On a second thought, she is a doctor (right?) and could herself give first aid and see if she's dead or not. And what does "we've let her down" mean? According to them, this is what the mother said at first to Gerry. Perhaps a drug overdose.. this sentence shows she felt responsible.

The car was rented, so the body smell could have been from the previous renters. Although this doesn't explain the DNA of Maddie found (23 days after disappearance?). Gerry McCann said he felt somebody's else presence in the room when he was there, then why didn't he check it? Of course he was most likely a bit drunk and could have done a million things differently than sober, but I doubt it.
And many of you say they couldn't have disposed the body by car because of paparazzis, but...

Motive.
What is the motive for killing the child?
Goncalo Amaral is very careful not to say 'why the McCann's killed their daughter, in fact he steers it towards an accident...which makes it even MORE fanciful to suggest they covered up an accidental death.
The leap to go from 'negligent parents' to 'criminals concealing the death of their own child' is not insignificant.
The suppositions in this are weak.

Ok, here's a theory. Part 1: The McCann's had sedated Maddie with something much stronger than Calpol (laughable). They're both doctors and the mother was a GP so could easily get hold of stronger stuff. This would have shown up on toxicology if Maddie had died of over-sedation or suffocation behind the sofa.

ask the gary to tell all the routes he used that car. then find out how many kilometres that makes overall. and find out if those kilometres match the cars kilometres. if there's like 50+ km. more than it should be. than that is the range u should look for the body, 25km obviously..

Re strange behaviours in this case, why did Clarence Mitchell resign from a secure, lucrative goverment position, to become a media spokesman for a family whose only source of income to pay his fees was a fund reliant on continuous public donations.
Also if the Madeleine had been abducted as the McCanns claim & then been found, perhaps days later, then the media circus would have ended and Mr Mitchell would have been rendered redundant after resigning from a top job.

I have several problems with the whole thing. If the girl did fall and parents covered up, where was the father going with the body? If he dumped it in the ocean, then how could blood show up in a car they rented later? That means that if the body was hidden in the closet, which the dogs indicate, the man/child seen across town was NOT McCann.

I don't see why the suspected use of Calpol is a problem. It's a very common medicine available over the counter, used to relieve mild pain and fever. It's safe to use on children from birth and I don't see how it could be used as a sedative??? I take a bottle on holiday with me in case my daughter gets sunburn, upset stomach etc...The use of Calpol would not be a reason to cover up the accident....

I don't get it...Calpol is a very mild medicine that can be used from birth. It relieves mild pain and fever, it's very commonly used in the U.K. and is available over the counter, I wouldn't see how it would have sedated her or why it would have reflected negatively on Kate & Gerry if she were found to have it in her system at the time of the suggested fall???

unfortunately, i think Gonçalo Amaral only says it was an accident because he cannot proove Maddie's parents killed her, but i belive he thinks kate killed her accidentally. A british neighbour not mentioned in this video, reported she heard kate shouting to the kids that night and that she was really upset.

Thanks for the post. It's a very interesting documentary. Amaral's motives might be questioned, but his facts have a logic. The traslation subtitles are not quite right in a couple of instances - as if they were done by a Portuguese translator who translated some it too literally - but it doesn't matter. The politics' interference and Mitchell - spokesperson for Gordon Brown too - are annoying but not surprising; politics is always about interfering with people's lives, & with the truth

If we go on this way,the kid murdered by parents in purpose,but why?The last thing: they hired the car 23 days after she dissapeared,how come they found thing of her in the car boot?did they hide her somewhere 23 days long,during the investigations and while they were being watched by police and the press?It doesn't sound logical.

I can accept many proofs in the doc but the screw on the lock is so little,so if the malleable material is moved a bit upper of the screw,its sure it could open the door if it's not locked.check on 6.27.the other thing,as we see on the other videos,mom comes to home after awhile and she comes alone.

Hi. Gerry was seeing walking toward the beach. This doesn't mean he reached the beach,and/or that he trow the body in the sea.There are stairs and houses between the beach and the place he was seen by the Smiths.The world & media were not watching them on the night of the 4th of May,in which,according to GNR statements,the McCanns were seen in the street twice (around 3am and 7am).They even asked the GNRs about the church

Drugging your children so you can party with friends and then dumping her body after you find her dead is bad enough, but going around the world asking for pity while you pretend to be innocent speaks volumes about the state of mind of these people. And what does it say about their friends who lied to protect them. The whole lot of them are evil and sick.

Whether or not they were directly involved in this childs death, they are guilty of inexcusable negligence and abuse of their children. They left them night after night unattended! (speculation ahead) Maybe the eventual drug given was still on moderate effect and therefore little Maddie could awake, go to the window with less conscient control of her movements and steps. That would improve the possibility of falling, hitting with her head on the floor and get injured. Blood on the floor, blood gets bleached out, partials get left behind...

I firmly believe that Madeleine was murdered accidentally by her parents coz the sniffing dogs tells it all..dog senses never fails though sometimes they do but they more accurate than any other...how could they explain that? maybe her parents are making money out of the situation..How pity Madeleine had parents like them..I still believe the truth will come out and Karma will be theirs if ever they have committed such crime.

Even if they hid the body somewhere on that night, it must have been undiscovered for 23 days or whatever [as thats when the scent of death was in the boot of the car the mccann's hired.] I dunno how they'd have moved the body either without a photographer or someone spotting them.

What an excellent video, I always thought that the parents had involvement in Maddie's disappearance. If I am wrong then I feel very sorry for them but there seems to be so much evidence to the contrary. I hope in time the truth will come out and that an innocent little girl can rest in peace.

This case is a media dream because the networks are being provided with a steady stream of sensational material with the arguments for and against an abduction, knowing full well that if a case is ever proven against the McCanns it will be a "crime of the century"

lttlmissxx is right when she says they imply that Gerry was carrying the body towards the beach to get rid of it. This would have happned what.... 30 minutes after the accident. Therefore all the evidence about hiding her body in the cupboard or driving it in the car do not match up with that observation made by the smiths. the mcans never done anything to hurt hur its just bad that after waching a silly program that u all have stoped hoping for little maddie x

This makes so much more sence then anything else that has been proved by her parents and everyone supporting them. I guess she did hurt her head which has caused her death (behind the sofa like in the video). Her parents must have been in complete shock and denied everything that happened that night. I guess her parents don't want to believe this themselves either. They have been hiding the most possible truth for everyone, but also for themselves.

yes they do imply that he was going to the beach to get rid of the body but that has not been confirmed because there is no trace of a body, he may have gone there to hide the body until they had the rental car to take her body away

I think Jane got mixed up with direction of the man - easily done. I think they should have examined the possibility that it WAS the same man carrying a child and even looked at the possibility of a person leaving the apt. with a corpse. Was the blood behind the sofa a clue to how he got it & out?? Could he have hidden in the apt. somewhere before leaving (if one of the parents came home?)
To me this raises more questions and shows not enough possibilities were examined.

yes the possibility of she being abducted by someone else was taken into account.. this is a short documentary.. not all of the investigation is shown here! a lot was done before they turned to the mccanns! this man spotted by jane was investigated.. over and over..! and for weeks people looked for him effortlessly.. I understand you for wanting to belive they couldn't do it.. but evidence shows they lied, act non conformly and physical evidence ties everything together! ask yourself why!

Did he put her in the car then put her in the sea? also in the previous videos,the man suggested the mccanns hid maddie in the cupboard and behind the sofa, how would they have enough time? i'm confused.. didnt police search the entire apartment?!

the car was rented by the mccanns several days after maddie's disappearence.. by the same time they went to spain to 'spread the message' about her child and to post missing flyers on spanish cities.. there is no reason why maddies dna could have been found in that car.. since all the girls belongings were in police custody.. no reason other then the girl being there after she disappeared! blood dosn't climb onto a car trunk on its own!

I am just struggling to understand how the McCann's would do this.. Apparantly Gerry carried Maddie towards the beach.. but after the disappearance, police searched the beach. Then Maddie's blood was found in the hire car.. how did it get there? how did the mccann's do it? Wouldn't photographers have been following them 24/7? I do think the McCann's did it but I am struggling to understand how..

the car was hired 23 days later, so could have been used to transport to her final resting place. would explain the sighting by the smiths, and the cadever in the car. She could have temporarily been hidden, maybe under sand? The Mccanns know

From what I've read online then Madeline would have to be dead by the sofa for an hour and a half plus for the cadaver 'scent of death' smell to be produced (and thus be detectable by Eddie - the sniffer dog). Then, the body would perhaps be found by someone who then panics and initially places the body in a cupboard on the spur of the moment, but then immediately decides to remove the body (perhaps hide the body somewhere by the beach until at a later date it can be taken somewhere else?)

exacly.. and that is what is stated on the documentary! the maccan allegations about the time they took watching over their children and the alcohol they had ingested that night were also found to be false.. as well as the number of checks they made that night.. now seen as clean up trips!
