Stray Cat Strut. By The Stray Cats, cool song. The song where i really got the hang of slapping. Even try getting the hang of it without playing any song. Just play a c. And try lots of different slapping techniques eg. tripple slap etc. You'll get the hang of it. And then eventually you'll listen to songs by bands (like living end) alot of their earlier stuff anyway. especsially 1st album has LOTS of slap. and u'll be able to hear what the bassist is playing. also watch living end live. and

watch what Scott Owen is doing. Thats what i did before i even had a bass. Just practiced the hand movements on the side of the couch lol because i had no idea what he was doing, let alone what a double bass was. i just thought it was the coolest thing ever. Hope that helps :D

Hey mate, this double bass I got was 2nd hand. the guy b4 who owned it never played. the retail for this one was about 1400

but i got it for 700!!

then the paint job for it cost 60, a local guy did it!
