I love this lovely old song. Is this the singer who's singing this in the background of the movie "Father of the Bride" (1991) ? We don't hear such wonderful lyrics these days and this is unforgettable. The movie itself, of course, is simply sweet and I cried at the wedding. He has a great voice, and he's doing great things with the classic standard tunes, but none of that matters because he can't swing... I cringe whenever I hear him sing jazz. Please learn to swing Buble, then I'll be 100 percent behind you!

@TheScarletSonata Isn't bossa nova a form of "jazz?" Wouldn't this arrangement be considered to have more of a bossa nova feel, and thus be within the spectrum of jazz?

But yeah, Buble seems more like the type to sing soothingly, rather than using his voice for the more blaring swing arrangements, such as Frank's arrangement of this song.

By the way, I never considered him as a "smooth jazz" musician, you misread my post there. Soothing =/= smooth.
