Well the problem is not that Brooke is not good mother for Taylor's kids but that she is not good mother at all. She slept with Deacon numerous times behind her daughter's back, for example
@milenastefanova Not to mention, she dragged Rick and Bridget along for the ride on her quest to live happily ever after with Ridge during most of their childhood. Sure, Hope sees Ridge as her father only because Brooke made always made sure Hope would. She always says RJ should have both his parents, but only because Ridge is his father. She thinks more about Ridge than about her own children. No one's allowed to be her children's father except Ridge, not even the natural fathers.
@HunterWrangler That's true. Nick was always more of a father to Hope than Ridge was when she was little. For Brooke, no one could ever measure up to Ridge except Nick. When she dumped Ridge after his attack on Rick, she IMMEDIATELY tried to get Nick back but Nick resisted the chance. One thing that Stephanie says about Brooke that is 100% true is that Brooke can not stand to be alone. When has Brooke ever been without a man? Unlike Ridge, Nick believes his ship with Brooke has sailed.
Makes me mad when people say Brooke is a bad mother, when you can clearly see here she treated Taylor's kids just like her own. Ask yourself, how sane would you be if you were happily married, raising these kids, & suddenly this dead wife shows up at your door wanting to reclaim your family ? Gees, give the girl a break. Those kids of Taylor's should be worshiing the ground Brooke walks on instead of treating her like crap. So should Taylor. I can't stand them.
i really like this scene, and i think that without the situation with ridge brooke and taylor could have grown to be good friends. brooke gave such good feedback to taylor about her children. and what i find interesting is that she says that she and phoebe have become close, which we see later when she returns from boarding school, as they both get along
This is really very beautiful part, I think that Brooke was really wonderful with Taylor´s children. Thanks for post this part, I never see this in TV
This is what I mean... Brooke raised these children, Taylor doesn't know half as much about them as Brooke does. She got them through their school period, she taught them everything and how do they thank her?
Taylor and her kids are psychos. I know it's just a show, but still...
So? Now Brooke has to be grateful for the rest of her life?
Omar saved taylor once again, see how Taylor thanked Omar? She never mentioned Omar again. No, her and Ridge's love is what brought her back. Get a grip, it was Omar's care that saved her and brought her back.
Taylor: How are Steffy and Phoebe doing?
Brooke: They're 14, going on 25. Haha... so funny since that is how kids age on soaps. ;-)

@pytko3 Except when she was going after Nick. Remember how much more of a dad Nick was to Hope than Ridge, especially at first?
