thanks for the comments .. unfortunately this is an old creation and I normally just start with my project without a pattern or anything .. I'll do my best to create another one with proper instructions soon :)

heheh .. my mom said the very same thing .. she saw the pic first .. she said that wasn't good work at all she couldn't understand what it was.. and today I showed her the 3D peacock and her reply was exactly like yours :)

The feathers are done this way. I have no clue how you achieved this effect. It is beautiful. Once again, your talent for arranging and choosing colours is awe inspiring.

I am trying to find a proper video cam for my mac .. I tried something else which didn't work thats why I'm always posting slide show .. I promise to make a video .. but for the time being its a 3 paper strips different colors attached end to end .. the 1st is short around 3 inches .. that's why it gets very loose and because the circle on the board is small while the paper is very long it tends to get tight at the edge
