You know what ? In Poland we don't have programs like "Virgin Diares", "Jerry Springer Show" or "Teenage mothers". We don't have 7 years old kids with 30 kilograms overweight. Not in Poland once in every 5 minutes the women is raped. We don't think that we are the best country in the world and we respect other countries.

why did tarja have to leave? she was the best, anette is good too but she could never compare. to me, anette should not try to sing any of the slow and beautiful songs that tarja sung. tarja's voice is the only one that can pull off a song like this, the siren, and sleeping sun. the sound is just too beautiful that nothing and/or no one can bare to compeat with.
@DeadlyRose1 Tarja had long been talking about going single, ofcourse Anette shouldn't try sing these that were composed to Tarja, Anette's voice does not reach to that point, the songs that Thuomas composed to Anette's voice fits Anette only as well, Tarja wouldn't be able to sing them as well as Anette, just as Anette can't sing Tarja's songs because of the differences in their voices.

I know Nightwish covers a wide variety of music from Sleeping Sun to End of All Hope but this one is different from all the others I've heard so far. It's beautiful and even though Anette's voice is beautiful too I don't think it could have handled this song, nor Sleeping Sun, correctly.
the part from 4:38 to the end is unbelieveable...every instrument and her voice...her voice when singing 'an ocean soul' is, i have no words, just epic..the feeling of this outro is very powerful
Tarja IS Nightwish. Listen to their non-tarja albums and then listen to their tarja albums side by side. The anette albums sound like shit. They put a happy goody two-shoes girl in Tarja's place. Anette is a cat in a dog's cage; she doesn't fit the role. On top of that she's not an opera singer, which totally ruins the band as a whole, because now they might as well change genres to continue. Nightwish once was a genuine, one of a kind band. Once Anette showed up... they just suck.
@beardenbulldog7 Move on, they a different now because Anette doesn't have the same voice, it doesn't mean they are worse at all, the band could no longer continue with Tarja, so it was either split or try something new.
If you don't like the new songs, then dont listen.
@nicolebaresi It's SYMPHONIC METAL not some happy-ass momma dressed in black. I just recently started listening to Nightwish a couple months back and I didn't even know they were without tarja until I bough a newer album and tried to return it because I thought it was a cheap knock-off.
@beardenbulldog7 Actually, Nightwish, changed their genre at the very begginning because of Tarja's voice, initially they played acoustic campfire music(listen to the Nightwish demo for refference). If anything, Anette's voice actually enables Nightwish to really be the true, original Nightwish. Just listen to the begginning of Meadows of Heaven, Eva and The Islander, now THAT's original Nightwish from back in 1996.
I can't believe than the voice of Tarja to sing is similar to the mine!!! Someday hear me because I'll have a group from Symphonic Metal!!! and I'm 13 years old!!! I LOVE YOU TARJA AND TUOMAS!!!!

The word's in which the boy's voice sound are really nice. They are simple yet pretty straightforward. It would be nice to have a complete poem of those parts, for they seem to be fragments. Anyone knows if it's a poem, and if it's so, under what name I may find it? Or where I can find the lyrics to this?

I've always felt that this song was allegorical to Thoumas' works, wrote for the eclipse(sleeping sun) wrote for the virgin (??) and ocean soul. A song about what he's created.

Tarja IS Nightwish. Listen to their non-tarja albums and then listen to their tarja albums side by side. The anette albums sound like shit. They put a happy goody two-shoes girl in Tarja's place. Anette is a cat in a dog's cage; she doesn't fit the role. On top of that she's not an opera singer, which totally ruins the band as a whole, because now they might as well change genres to continue. Nightwish once was a genuine, one of a kind band. Once Anette showed up... they just suck.

@beardenbulldog7 Move on, they a different now because Anette doesn't have the same voice, it doesn't mean they are worse at all, the band could no longer continue with Tarja, so it was either split or try something new.
If you don't like the new songs, then dont listen.

@nicolebaresi It's SYMPHONIC METAL not some happy-ass momma dressed in black. I just recently started listening to Nightwish a couple months back and I didn't even know they were without tarja until I bough a newer album and tried to return it because I thought it was a cheap knock-off.

@beardenbulldog7 Actually, Nightwish, changed their genre at the very begginning because of Tarja's voice, initially they played acoustic campfire music(listen to the Nightwish demo for refference). If anything, Anette's voice actually enables Nightwish to really be the true, original Nightwish. Just listen to the begginning of Meadows of Heaven, Eva and The Islander, now THAT's original Nightwish from back in 1996.

I can't believe than the voice of Tarja to sing is similar to the mine!!! Someday hear me because I'll have a group from Symphonic Metal!!! and I'm 13 years old!!! I LOVE YOU TARJA AND TUOMAS!!!!

@Eternal2Cain2Esth haha I'm sure you could have a beautiful voice, but first of all don't underestimate the Symphonic Metal-genre if it comes to singing it yourself, and second: no one has a voice as beautiful as Tarja :)
and anyway, with getting older, your voice will change anyway... I used to have a pretty good voice myself when I was 13, now I'm 18 and it's gone :p

The word's in which the boy's voice sound are really nice. They are simple yet pretty straightforward. It would be nice to have a complete poem of those parts, for they seem to be fragments. Anyone knows if it's a poem, and if it's so, under what name I may find it? Or where I can find the lyrics to this?

I've always felt that this song was allegorical to Thoumas' works, wrote for the eclipse(sleeping sun) wrote for the virgin (??) and ocean soul. A song about what he's created.
