ah these computers are actually "patience training machines" in disguise... lol! seriously i feel your pain in the cranky computer department. i hope it's all sorted out now.

if it helps at all, ken and i use a regular camera with a 2gb chip and we can put it directly on the computer with a usb connecter device we got with the memory card. we couldn't figure out how to get our footage from the regular digital video camera to work on here...
