Also, keep your toes in, don't have them angled out so much-helpful hint I picked up at my barn, which is an intense dressage barn, so they're sticklers for things like that.
ok no offence and all but u need a LOT of improvement. if your coach is that bad u should really go to another riding barn. but you will get better in time. you really need some actual riding boots for safety :)
I would highly recommend getting proper riding footwear, as where the stirrups are right now is actually quite dangerous. Everything else comes with time.
The heels should be pointed down, which proper footwear certainly makes easier (this coming from someone who has ridden in dangerously bad footwear). There's less padding in paddock boots between where the top of the foot is, and where the leg is :)
OKayyyyyy look Ur on the wrounge Diagnol,Cutting your corners, Letting ur horse go in the middle, U cant ride no offense and ur trainer is horrible hes not getting that ur diagnol u should no that right off the bat
she isnt riding with "double bits" and they aren't called double bits, its called a double bridle or a full bridle, why dont you learn what your talking about before your go and pick on a novice rider just to make yourself look good you bitch
your instructor should notice that your stirrups are waay too long, and you need some foot wear that at least has a heel and he should tech you diagonals ect.
you did good but just remember to stay more relaxed and sit a little deeper/back especially when cantoring.
hun why are you cantering when you have not even got your rising trot yet and you need to be softer when you use your leg all that will happen if you keep kicking is that your horse's side will go numb and the horse will not be able to feel your leg
yes, she is doing very good for someone her age!!!! its becuz obviously the instructor or whoever, didnt teach her everything...like wrong diaganol...stirrups to long, and she needs boots. but look how well she is trotting
Hey people! Go easy on the kid! I am a pro. riding instructor and she is doing great! Her faults are those of a bad instructor. It is very important that your instructor be very detail oriented and notice things like your stirrups are too long and you NEED to be wearing proper foot wear such as boots or boots and half chaps. Your instructor should also refrain from making you dismount your horse to ride it. They should either ride a demo horse with you or teach you from the ground step by step.
That's happended to me, I was trying to canter, but I was posting at the sametime. My teacher told me to not to post. Oneday I was cantering and I didn't post.
wrong diagonal..you rise when the outside leg goes forward and the inside leg is back + in sitting trot try not to perch on the saddle, sit deep..put the weight in your stirrups, keep a heavy elbow and light hand.
shorten up your reins for more contact, also try to keep your toes in, so your heels don't dig into the horses ribs. For the canter, the aid isn't 'kick'-it's outside leg behind the girth, inside leg on..and really think ''canter NOW!'' horses pick up on these thoughts..
guys cut it out clearly you can c she is getng a ridng lesson ryt so wat ur all tellng her is the stuff that her instructor is tryng 2 teach her if she had everything perfect there wodnt b a point of gettn a lesson plus rememba wat u were lyk @ 1st? exactly!
toes in!! shorten your reins and take your stirrups up and sit deeper in the saddle and just use you outside leg aid whilst trying to canter and only ask on corners!!
Wow. Your stirrups are wayyy too long, quit leaning/holding onto him with your hands!! Keep your heels down too. Quit overdoing your cues too. It makes you look stupid.
Also, keep your toes in, don't have them angled out so much-helpful hint I picked up at my barn, which is an intense dressage barn, so they're sticklers for things like that.

I would to however, the reason her stirrups are in the wrong position is because her feet are pointed down

just a few safety and riding tips:
1. make sure that your feet are not too far in the stirrups!!! (MOST IMPORTANT!)
2. keep your heels down and point your toes up
3. maybe, if you can, shorten the stirrups so that you have a bend in your knee
you dont have to use these tips but if you do you will be great :)

Wie wärs mal mit Ausbinder rein !??
XxDressurDivaxX 3 years ago
Was meinst du damit? Wie steht es um mal mit rein Zügel
mrbrendons 3 years ago

Her stirrups are fine !
since shes riding on a dressage saddle they have to be longer than usual.
of course since shes a beginner it might have been more helpfull to shorten them but stil
