It's only four months until the release date, and they have not shown much of anything at all of the new game. That's because since it's CoD, every average gamer is obviously expected to get it. It's ridiculous.

I respect both developers for making a franchise that is obviously addicting, fast-paced, and fun. However, this franchise is like becoming an acid addict. It was fun at first, but now it just seems like a necessity to have. There's a reason they've dropped the numericals in cod: because the next one is going to technically be CoD 8. Franchises should be dropped by then. MW3 has offered absolutely nothing new other than news guns, maps, and a campaign. There's a reason for that.

@kinghazza890 Since the release of Black Ops, I started not to trust Treyarch, it's a good game.. but geez, the console port for PC was REALLY badly done, the game almost leaves ram and GFX plate at its normal, it pushes too much from the processor, and the bugs? dont even talk about it.. they didnt even make a beta where many bugs were being found and deleted, they just released the game almost without a bugcheck..

I like mw2 and cod 5 is good but black ops is gonna be sick. We get c bows. Cod 5 feels more realistic then mw2 . Mw2 feels kinda fake since there's like no blood. In theis the way it splatters is just perfect glad treyarch is back with black ops

People are getting this game because they want to feel the experience of soldiers during WWII. Critics are complaining about the lack of character and being "downgraded" from MW1. Well, "duh", the scene was settled during WWII and soldiers were living day-by-day with the objective of vengeance and saving their country. The atmosphere would obviously have feel chilling to the bone because that's what the game developers wanted the gamers to feel. It was an actual war, not like the Vietnam &Iraq

Kinda like how the US and the Allies during WWII has this huge moral responsibilities of stopping the Japanese and German from taking over the world. In the Vietnam War and the current war in Iraq, it's just a war without the same moral as during WWII. The US soldiers that were sent to Vietnam and Iraq were not truly fighting their best and simply agreed on being sent there for the sake of payment or were something less. They do not have that same strong moral to fight for their country.
