There are other races where evos rule and subarus blow.... not just rally. How is subaru better cars (they are about the same I think)? no matter who is driving the impreza wrc it is usually faster than the lancer wrc. and no it isnt just prodrive. it is mitsubishi and their rally team ralliart in wrc. so yes they did wrc (until they quit). and pretty much all the parts are not mitsubishi in circuit racing. they are from tuning companies like hks. and you make it sound like everybody uses evos and they dont their are stis too. the evo isnt crap when you tune it because most parts arent from mitsubishi.

the rallying version of lancer is very highly tuned lancer designed for rallying. It has 2.0 liter engine but way more powerful engine than the lancer evolution. Lancer Evolution is made so that people can buy it and enjoy it on public roads, but it still can run like the rallying car because it has the options for tarmac, gravel, and snow. So lancer evolution is pretty much downgraded version of the rallying version of Mitsubishi Lancer.
