And they release new patches for it at a ridiculous pace, so I really don't think it'll ever be that unbalanced. Besides, you still need to capture enough monuments to reach the tier your overpowered card is on, and that'll give the opponent plenty of time to try to counteract it...
This game barely obeys traditional RTS characteristics.. you have to acquire these card things and then summon the units directly to a place on the battlefield. There's hardly any strategy involved if all there is is moving units and fighting.
The way you talk sounds like you know nothing of the game. Have you even played it? The way pvp goes, it goes like starcraft, messup and your screwed. Besides there is a sickness that goes with your units it you summon them somewhere far of from orbs
