  • Give me an m-4 and Ill love to get on the ground and be the most dangerous game they hunt. Just imagine a predator that can shoot back.

  • @760michael1022 Hi Mate, no idea what an M4 is, we have a motorway called that here in the UK but it's as dangerous as a weetabix skinhead. As for predators that can shoot back - I'd be delighted with that - imagine a 1/4 tonne lion trying to flip the safety off using claws - hilarious and so much safer than it using it's speed agility and natural weapons....great to hear from you matey, have a great day!

  • I use traps when i hunt, I wouldn't have it any other way. It is not poaching, if it were it would be illegal. I still went to the sight even though you told me not to because i "can hunt". Good day sir, from Weeeesconsiiiin.

  • @TVwillems

Hi and happy new year. Nobody appointed me your keeper, neither am I in a possition to comment of judge you, I get too much of that myself! We all have the right to an opinion and we all also have to live with our actions and the consequences of them - each to their own and if trapping makes you happy, well, that's your call to make.

    best regards

  • Sounds like another Troy Gentry , just search youtube for this video-

"Country Singer Troy Gentry Kills Tame Bear"

I dont think to highly of the bait

  • @sohcsarewicked

I've never heard of Troy Gentry and have nothing to do with such activities. Our hunting activities are done in the spirit of fair chase where we offer the opportunity to harvest game in order to support local communities while helping manage the numbers of wild animals. It is legal and ethically conducted and frankly had you been a UK citizen I would have instructed our Solicitors to commence legal proceedings against you without hesitation.

  • @TheHuntingAgency how is it ethical to hunt down a animal running in fear?Bait hunting is not ethical. Its not even real hunting you are baiting them to a point where you can shoot with ease. Baiting is just the same as canned hunting in my opinion. You should watch the video of try gentry its the most famous canned hunt video in the world right now. I don't even see any video of you eating your kills.

  • @sohcsarewicked

There is no footage of me taking a dump after eating them either and while it's a free Country (here) with everyone entitled to their own opinion, frankly I'm already sick of hearing yours. I can't be bothered to debate the ethics of this with an anonymous drive-by wannabe environmentalist and your opinion and comments are totally worthless to me. Have a nice day - or not - I'could care more either way.

  • finally,a man among men.

good for you for saying whay alot of hunters are thinking

best of luck on your hunts

  • Sir you hit the nail right on the head ....

I take my hat off to you .....

    well done/ Said

  • @VK4LA

Many thanks, much appreciated. I have a few strong feelings with regard to hunting, not all of which make me popular with hunters, especially the Americans, but we all have an opinion and a right to air it!

    Best regards

  • @TheHuntingAgency Ethics are what makes hunting great and one day i wanna go to africa!

  • I had a question for the farmers I know a way that a few people I know deal with wolves with using wolf dung and fur leftovers from wolf parks, seems to keep them out cause they think its another pack territory can you do the same with other predators like the lions or other cats? or would they attack anyway?

  • @Crystalwolf78

The Etosha National Park is 1.2 million Hectares so I doubt you'd ever collect enough to find out! Hunger is a hell of a motivator too and lion don't have much in the way of challengers except for Man so I'd expect them to keep on coming!

  • @TheHuntingAgency Ok just curious Lions are harder then like I thought. Just wanted to be sure. I love that you promote the right way to hunt. I have a relative in the United States as a fish and Game warden believe me he is very busy dealing with people who are not sporting in what they do or who follow the rules.

  • @Crystalwolf78

It sounds very exotic to have free-roaminglions in your neighbourhood, right up until you encounter them or they start eating your livelyhood. Having a quarter of a tonne of cat eating your future isn't everyone's idea of a good time - but it's great that there are so many still out there regardless of the damage they cause!

  • well someone at least is out there with Theodore Roosevelt's ideal of sportsmanship in hunting I don't care for hunting for these animals but still at least you keep it the way it is supposed to be done.

  • @Crystalwolf78

I agree and while we have predators on quota for the animal management of the region, the only lion / leopard / cheetah we shoot are free-roaming and totally wild. Most of them are also classed as problem animals where they pose a significant threat to human life of are actively hunting livestock on farms, and like domestic cats, these things also kill for fun

  • I agree what you say. I always want to hunt so sometime Ill bringmy old ww greener db shotgun down.

  • Baiting is just as much a handicap as a fence and these are endangered species. "over 3000 head of black rhino". Excuse me, but with all respect there are 6+ billion people. How long do you think it'd take to find a number of people to shoot a single rhino until they are all gone? The same with any endangered animal. And trophy hunting is a waste of resources. There are starving people over there, but hey there are walls to mount heads on and rooms to line dead bodies in, ey?

  • @spydrworks

If only we had a quote for managing the human population.....

  • Good video, there is hunting, then there is african HUNTING!!! Hunting in africa is walking the fine line between hunting and self defense!! lol. good video!!

  • You got that right - we've had a lot of issues with lion over the last 5 months and on two occasions have found ourself within 20M of a very angry pussy, but in each case the cat weighed a quarter of a tonne and was using sheep and goats outside our labourers houses as their personal larder!

So what do you do when a 250kg lion has just killed all your livestock for fun, hasn't eaten any of it and is now sitting in your front garden waiting for your kids to come out?

  • well ok, there's no shortage of predators in that area, at least presently. But as long as the farmers stay put, the predators will come. So, where do you stop exactly? When the predators stop coming? If so, then what would that indicate about the predator population? That they are reduced in numbers? Ok then what would the numbers of their natural prey be on balance. Overpopulation? So then , let the predators replimish enough to take care of that right? But then the farmers have problem again.

  • I agree that it's an immotive subject and nobody wants to see any species hunted to exstinction, except perhaps for Tetsi Flys and Mosquitto! As for the predators vrs farmers debate, until the land owners are propoerly compensated for their losses there will always be friction over predator hunting and certainly the administration behind the management of permits ect needs a good shake up too.

  • I can also tell you that the likes of Cheetah, Leopard, Lion Elephant and Black Rhino are thriving in many areas of Namibia - for example, if I said there is over 3000 head of Black Rhino in the Etosha National Park alone - that will perhaps give you a flavour for just how many there are - not that you'll read this in any official reports from the likes of WWF ....it isn't in their interests to let that kind of information out is it.....?

  • geez he scolds the lazy hunter, i thingk he's a lazy hunter using bait, psssh

  • Thanks for the very informative video . I used to be entirely against hunting until I went to southern Africa and met some 'proper' hunters. I now understand that hunting can infact be very good for conservation and as long as people don't kill unneccesarily and have respect for the animals (fair hunt, clean kill etc) I don't have a problem with it, I would have more of an issue with predator hunting as I think you should use the kill ie eat it but they are obviously are large problem

  • in your area and it definately sounds like there are no shortage of leopard, lion and hyena, and I think hunting is far better method of control than trapping or poisoning in which the animal could suffer for hours or days and even then not be the target you were after. I suppose you need to find a balance between protecting peoples livelihood and keeping animals from extiction... also canned hunting is pathetic, really really pathetic so thanks for speaking against it.

  • dadeskr you was never against it, you just never tried it and theres a killer in you. If you want to make a difference go do voulentry work for starving african children.

  • Yeah I would like to do that sometime, I'd like to live out in Africa doing conservation work and I would love to give some spare to to helping local projects, but I've got to get through uni first! One day...

  • Not sure if you two know each other but it's a bit harsh Marelie1606, still, we're all entitled to an opinion!

  • Hi Mate, thanks for your comments - lots of people get trophy hunting and it's ethics confused with poaching and it's lack of them, so it's nice to hear that you've been there and seen for yourself before jumping on the bandwagon. Trapping and poisoning is not right IMHO, but there certainly are a lot of preditors in Namibia including a growing hyaena population which is a real problem. Canned hunting - it's not really hunting - same as shooting fish in a barrel, it isn't really fishing! Cheers

  • Africas a big country that if can't live there together, then its likely the human is the reason for that. Why should the animals suffer. Why don't we stop having children, expanding, making mistakes. We should suffer.

  • Hi Osuuvv, in England we suggest that if you don't hae something nice to say - you should say nothing at all - shae you didn't like the clip, but please be assured that I'll not be loosing any sleep over it whatsoever - looked at your videos though - crap is the word that comes to mind - have a great day!

  • What Videos?

  • wtf---- Pathetic***

  • might want to check the specs on cheetahs...
