In FrequenSea, there is more than just Marine Phytoplankton. There is also essential oils and other plant concentrates. There is PURE which is Marine Phytoplankton and ocean water with the salt removed. As for the price, My husband before we bet, would spend $60.00 a month on vitamins from GNC. They were not as effective nor as easy for the body to assimilate. The cost is very competitive and under-priced considering the health benefits.
Well its very interesting, bu the cost puts it out of reach for most people. If you can make 40 tons per day, and you can easily increase capacity then why do you make it so expensive? Why dont you make it available to more people. I am thinking of the elderly in Australia, I know a few people who would benefit, but I dont think they could afford it. God knows how people in poorer countries could.
Even for me, its probably a lot with a wife and 3 young boys to feed.
The high cost of some of this stuff is due to the mlm nonsense.. They don't want to sell the product.. they want to create downlines and share the profits from the required purchases by the members..
I recently was able to find the news article from a Canadian publication that stated Mr. Harper markets his Marine Phytoplankton through UMAC-CORE.
I tried the Frequensea and it had so little phytoplankton in it that to take the recommended 2oz daily; I would need 4 bottles per month which is over $100.00. I just cannot afford that.
Thought I would put this out there for anyone looking for more info on Mr. Harper and his product.
That really depends on the phytoplankton cultures themselves. Pigmentation is usually an indicator of the chlorophyll or the stage of growth in the phytoplankton - though it would be interesting to know whether this is diatom, dinoflagellate, ciliate, chromophyte or any other group of diatom... . Also, algae is simply sometimes a lazy - or more common term - for phytoplankton, depending on the scientist you talk to.
I've just heard the end of the video - it sounds as though this is a mixed sample, so the issue here is that over time phytoplankton communities change -thats where you get spring and autumn blooms. Also, different species use different chemo- or photo-synthetic pigments to help energy production. Others are obligate heterotrophs, meaning sometimes they prey on other animals, depending on nutrient levels.
Most of this I've learnt through my Honours and the start, so far, of my PhD in the area and this is the general consensus that I've written about in my thesis. So I can't claim to be an absolute expert, but I would be wary about the concentrations and species, etc. some phytoplankton are actually toxic, producing three main types of shellfish poisions.
Therefore anyone could take seawater, lakewater, etc. and concentrate the species and essentially make their own if it is as simple as this video implies. There: I think that's all that I can think of in this short time, a quick crash course in phytoplankton dynamics.
Gesundheit Marine Phytoplankton is the real deal...I have seen it help people with serious illnesses, I dont have a disease, but it has helped me lose weight, made my Facial Skin Look WAY better, gave me energy, a better attitude, a healthy lifestyle...after a couple of weeks you wont want a soda, or anykind of junk food. I promise !!!
This is a great testimony to the use of marine phytoplankton. Tom Harper has teamed up with Forevergreen to create a product called FrequenSea, which has marine phytoplankton in it.
From Wikipedia: In terms of numbers, the most important groups of phytoplankton include the diatoms, cyanobacteria and dinoflagellates, although many other groups of algae are represented.
Phytoplankton is a variety of marine organisms. Algae is just one type.
I love this stuff. Ocean's alive in the powder form is my favorite. The more I eat the better I feel!

Not only that, but the color of the phytoplankton in the tanks is different shades of green.
Frequensea markets one that is orange or pink in pigmentation. That doesn't seem to be congruent or consistent with what is really out there.
