"Turk" you're an idot.... Its funny how "You People" are. You're just another dumb asshole that can't think for himself so you regurgitate complete crap. Way to go, you insignificant Turk...... Hey maybe that's what you should call your show. "The Insignifacant Turk" You're sure not a young Turk.
Muhammad himself married his third wife Aisha when she was only 6 years old. Muhammad then consummated the marriage with Aisha when she was only 9 years old, Muhammad himself was 54 years old. For this reason it is not illegal for Muslim men to marry child brides in many Islamic Countries.
"So, Bush was reading a book. My first thought was "Bush can READ?"..."
Apparently goat books are difficult for him, too (he read the last one upside-down...remember?), so let's start him off on something simple, like "go, dog, go" and see where we go from there.
whats the logic behind your comment not everyone who gets president is incredible smart. u say george was president so he is smarter than the young turks who thousends of people watch. but u never published something anybody wants to see
@cheesybonezy Wow you obviously do not know anything about Bush. He is not a very intelligent person, to say the least. He was elected as figure head. Anyway he didn't truly win the election. Anyone who honestly investigates what happened without inserting their party affiliations will realize that their was massive voter fraud in the 2000 election and the 2004 election. Bush should have never been president.
@uniteordie1 wow you really think that he is not very smart tells me alot about you and as far as him not winning the elections I say let it go that is what some people are saying about Obamas birth cert.
@minman094 You think he is smart. You're kidding right? Have you heard him speak? Do you know anything about his policies? The difference between his elections and obamas birth is that the fraud committed in the 2000 elections is based on evidence and facts. The birthers would not know what facts were if they hit them in the face. I am sorry you are so deluded. That tells me a lot about you. Now try your best to come back with facts. I know it is hard for you but give it a shot.
@uniteordie1 You want me to present facts yet you present no facts to back up your statements. Yes I know about his policies and I belive they are policies you do not agree with and thats ok. The differance between you and me is that I can disagree with our present president and not hate him. Can you do that with people you disagree with?
I'd buy it, I'd be interested to read about his decisions and put myself in his shoes, especially in a presidency that has seen the most needed action of the century. an attack, two wars,2 natural disasters (not including our help after the 2004 tsunami) space shuttle accident... and much more. and people blame him when he had to handle all of this? C'mon. That's tough and it would definitely be interesting to read about 12 and how he went about them.
haha.. and you're only 21, so that doesn't give you much more knowledge of the past. And I don't see anything that Obama has done..except put our country over triple the debt in only 3 months.
I don't know why everyone today see Obama as a Godsend. He's just another guy, with more bad ideas..
Well, yeah, but I know Roosevelt's times were much more interesting than today. Hell, even Reagan will always be better remembered than Bush.
He didn't "inherit" those wars or have them forced upon the country. One of them was to a certain extent justified, insofar as 9/11 was deadlier and more anti-civilian than Pearl Harbour, but the other was a personal choice of his administration.
And my point was not whether Obama has actually done anything. But so far his term of office has been MUCH more ... interesting than Bush's first 6 months.
that personal choice came from CIA Intelligence reports and made him support the decision. He also had support from Britain and Spain.
I cand and will definitely agree Obama's first months have been 'interesting' But they can't surpass the first 6 of Bush, we have't had a terrorist attack yet.. so there is no challenge.
Just because there is a terrorist attack now, doens't mean Obama screwed up. Alot of these things could be either incompetance or just one of those things that could happen to anyone.
We have to be careful about how we point our fingers.
I believe there is a law that states a criminal cannot profit from his crime!
And since Bush has not been indicted or convicted...yet! It only makes sense as a society to boycott the book. Let the media run with a front page ad stating no one wants to hear anything this sad excuse for a man wants to say.
The opposite of support is not hate, it is apathy! Within apathy lies not revenge, but justice.
Can you imagine any better legacy for our fine president than an aggregate 1 star rating on Amazon, not to mention the thousands of nasty reviews nearly everyone would happily pen?
I hope he does write a book, he's going to be rich anyway - my whole hatred for Bush comes from the fact that he is completely arrogant about his sham of a presidency.
I just hope he realizes what a piece of human shit he is, and how his admin will go down as the worst.
Hmmm...if ur in a 3rd world country, like my home country, it's better to download an eBook/PDF that an actual book...:)

well bush definetly isnt my favorite guy. for the most part he's the president we all love to hate. lol. but i'd probably give up a couple weeks to read his book.
I'd read a book by Dick Cheney, the real man behind Bush. He's an evil, deceptive, yet intelligent man, and I'm so sick that I'd like to take a look into his twisted mind. I'm a psychology major, what can I do?
I realy will like to see a book of Condolisa Rise, not of President Bush!!, if he writes a book who is going to reed it?, i won't!!, will you?, so how about a book of Barack Obama, HOOOOOOOO mean, i definitly will buy it all day!!!!, that will be exelent, actualy i will write a letter to the white house on January 20 when Barack Obama will officialy be our president, to suggest the idea of Barack Obama writing a book of hes political life, that will be exelent and i belive averione will buy it.

God bless you. I haven't laughed that hard in days. According to what weirded out Ultra Right Wing source was this?

Thats because people actually like rumors. They like beef on people. Turn Rush off? Rush doesn't like either candidate. He thinks logically, rather than all you people.
When Saddam Hussein's regime was over, the man got executed because Iraq didn't want him to spread his ideas and excuses and propaganda from a jail cell.
It would still have been an insult to the American people to pick Condi. "I'll raise your black candidate for a black female VP candidate." She didn't want it anyway but she would have been light years better than Sarah Palin.I don't like calling her stupid but she was grossly under-prepared for the campaign. And she doesn't know how to sit second chair . She made the campaign about herself. I like John McCain ( I like Obama better) but he screwed up.
Rice needs to play damage controll, and write a book to help her image in the wake of the bush fuck up. I'd lov to see her be president someday when the republicans get the white house again after Obama or if the democracts win another term, she would be alot better than palin.
Reminds me of an old saying that would be a good book title to sum up the Bush/Cheney administration and how it has affected the world over the past 8 yrs...
he cant even speak english, how in the fuck is he gonna write a book?
like so many have already said, it will definitely be a pop up book.
it will be like the republican version of "go dog go". bush dont like green eggs and ham, he fucks americans in a box, with a fox, in a house with a mouse.
I can only imagine a title somewhat like that of Russell Brands autobiography, "My Bookie Wook" or "When I Ran The Country" Something completely asanine.
He is part of the Young Turks which is an independent liberal talk-show - you can find out more by clicking their website or their profile. :) I just found out about them recently before the election.
hell, i'd read it. i wanna see how he tries to explain the wars. and katrina. oh, and the kyoto protocol. oh, and the patriot act. oh, and guantanamo bay. and the expansion of executive power beyond the safeguards of checks and balances.
oh, and being president without having the intelligence or the temperament for the job.
Cenk, I might have to disagree with you. If Bush were to write a tell all book that included a lot of inside information or confirmed some of the many rumors about what he has done, I think it would be a huge hit. On the other hand, if it isn't controversial, just another story of how he likes to run to clear his mind, then it would bomb big time. Regarding Bush's actual ability to write the book, well they have ghostwriters and co-authors for that.
On the subject of not being able to write the book, I don't think Cenk was saying that he couldn't write it. Rather, it's fairly obvious that a ghost writer would write it. The question really is, would he even read it or be able to? And while it's a joke, the sad thing is at least to me, it's a serious question. I don't think Bush is capable of actually revealing anything enlightening, to be frank. We already know he made many mistakes. I think what's on people's minds is how we'll fix them.
While President Bush may be an intellectual moron, it is impossible for someone to be President of the United States for eight years and not be privy to some exclusive information. While I doubt President Bush would reveal anything shocking, my point is, if he did he would definately sell some books. Also, in general one can find value in reading a variety of perspectives, including those from people we tend to disagree with. This topic has nothing to do with fixing problems, just curiosity.
You may be right. But as of right now I fail to see the "fan base" of people at this moment in time that wants to know why Bush did some of the things he did. But I may be wrong. All of Clinton's books were best-sellers. Clinton did wait at least a year though for his first book to actually take off. Time will tell though.
I don't dispute that he might sell -some- books to those that are simply curious. However, the book wouldn't gross enough to make it profitable, and would probably be a bad political decision for the publisher anyway. While Kyle here said it bluntly, what he said is true: The book wouldn't sell enough to really be a best-seller right now. It would be bought only by those who want to laugh at the administration, which (right now) isn't the main topic. He'd be better off doing it in a year or two.
Really though, if one wanted to see how Bush tries to justify his mistakes, Youtube is full of videos of his desperate attempts to do just that. I could only expect more of the same if he were to write a book.
I would very much like to read books by Bush AND Cheny on what they think of prison life. I bet Cheny gets the "top bunk"! Now THAT would be entertaining!
I have a complete opposite view of Cenk on this, I would definitely buy Bush's book. Come on, this is the worst president in American history, I think it would be fascinating to see how he thinks and what his rational is for a lot of things.
George Bush wants to write a book? Come on, its been seven years since 9/11 and I bet you he hasn't even finished reading My Pet Goat first before he even starts writing one of his own! =p
I'd like to see a book on the McCain campaign written by someone high up the chain who's willing to nut up and go on record. I'd like to know the real reaction to the Palin/Couric interview. Enough of the unnamed sources and blind quotes. Give us the real dirt :)

Condi and Zelikow wrote a book together. Zelikow directed the 9/11 commission. no worries, it was a 'bipartisan' investigation. therefore 'true'.
Thrashaero 3 years ago
Reminds me of an old saying that would be a good book title to sum up the Bush/Cheney administration and how it has affected the world over the past 8 yrs...
Dick+Bush=Fucked
Chance8504 3 years ago
Can he write? can he read?
Chance8504 3 years ago

FO1L08 3 years ago 3

like so many have already said, it will definitely be a pop up book.
it will be like the republican version of "go dog go". bush dont like green eggs and ham, he fucks americans in a box, with a fox, in a house with a mouse.
crowdaddy13 3 years ago 5
I can only imagine a title somewhat like that of Russell Brands autobiography, "My Bookie Wook" or "When I Ran The Country" Something completely asanine.
Gridfire 3 years ago
maybe he is hoping it will be a best seller? yes in iraq when they run out of us flags to burn!
grahamkeithtodd 3 years ago 4
Bush's book would consist of drawings. No words included.
lorenzo8500 3 years ago
Can I color in it? LOL. And don't you DARE say I have to stay in the lines because Bush doesn't.
HammandClov 3 years ago 2
What would be the title of Cheney's book? "Dick's Guide to Screwing Democracy in the Ass?"
Muaguana 3 years ago 3
What about "Cheney: How not to give a fuck!"
MankindCartoons 3 years ago 2
Have Donald Rumsfield collaborate with'em. Add in some sarcasm.
HammandClov 3 years ago
Or "Rove: My love affair with Satan."
CowzRppl2 3 years ago
and also, "Rove: You think I'm gonna get arrested? Bitch, please!"
MankindCartoons 3 years ago
Bush's best chance would be a pop up book of some kind.
Imagine opening it only to find little cardboard oil pumps reaching for the stars!

I always love Cenk's Bush impersonations.
Anothercoilgun 3 years ago
His Cheney impression was spot on.
liquidhead 3 years ago
Bush can't even talk right, let alone write a friggin' book.
ForlornStudios 3 years ago
well, to write a book you have to know how to read and have a coherent interpretation, then put your thoughts into words.
he can't shit and chew gum at the same time.
liquidhead 3 years ago
oh man LMAO! nevermind, just got to where Cenk touches on Bush's literacy, um, challenges.
BlueLotusPagana 3 years ago
Now, honestly, who even believes Bush can WRITE?

He is part of the Young Turks which is an independent liberal talk-show - you can find out more by clicking their website or their profile. :) I just found out about them recently before the election.

What would it be called? "the little president that could"?
RedMedium 3 years ago 2
The book would be a bunch of lies anyway.
angelinaramon 3 years ago 2
hell, i'd read it. i wanna see how he tries to explain the wars. and katrina. oh, and the kyoto protocol. oh, and the patriot act. oh, and guantanamo bay. and the expansion of executive power beyond the safeguards of checks and balances.
oh, and being president without having the intelligence or the temperament for the job.
jlobsien 3 years ago 2
He can write?!?!? O.O
equusential 3 years ago 2
Write a book? I'd be surprised if he could colour one in.
IanErc 3 years ago 7
I believe Bush has already written 2 books.
AngrySkeptic 3 years ago
My guess is someone else is writing is and signing Bush's name. If Bush wrote it himself it'd probably have to be a popup book ^^

Bush finally set the record today: lowest presidential approval rating in U.S. history. (24%)
SirHatchporch 3 years ago 2
Oops, I meant since 1952.
SirHatchporch 3 years ago
1952, you mean turman had lower ratings than bush?
KangaKucha 3 years ago
Yeah, Truman's lowest approval rating was 22%.
So keep reaching for the stars, Dubya! You still have two months! You can beat Harry!
SirHatchporch 3 years ago
propably cuz of his cold war, when he should hav just let the USSR take over Greece, Turkey, some of the ME, Nepal, etc.
KangaKucha 3 years ago
and that 24% probably doesn't even know who bush is!
crack4747 3 years ago
He would write an awesome pop-up book! Like that guy from "Throw mama off a train."
Morahman7vnNo2 3 years ago
Cenk, I might have to disagree with you. If Bush were to write a tell all book that included a lot of inside information or confirmed some of the many rumors about what he has done, I think it would be a huge hit. On the other hand, if it isn't controversial, just another story of how he likes to run to clear his mind, then it would bomb big time. Regarding Bush's actual ability to write the book, well they have ghostwriters and co-authors for that.
HungryNomadicLion 3 years ago
On the subject of not being able to write the book, I don't think Cenk was saying that he couldn't write it. Rather, it's fairly obvious that a ghost writer would write it. The question really is, would he even read it or be able to? And while it's a joke, the sad thing is at least to me, it's a serious question. I don't think Bush is capable of actually revealing anything enlightening, to be frank. We already know he made many mistakes. I think what's on people's minds is how we'll fix them.
KalecLostsol 3 years ago
While President Bush may be an intellectual moron, it is impossible for someone to be President of the United States for eight years and not be privy to some exclusive information. While I doubt President Bush would reveal anything shocking, my point is, if he did he would definately sell some books. Also, in general one can find value in reading a variety of perspectives, including those from people we tend to disagree with. This topic has nothing to do with fixing problems, just curiosity.
HungryNomadicLion 3 years ago
You may be right. But as of right now I fail to see the "fan base" of people at this moment in time that wants to know why Bush did some of the things he did. But I may be wrong. All of Clinton's books were best-sellers. Clinton did wait at least a year though for his first book to actually take off. Time will tell though.
Tyraen2007 3 years ago
but SOME books isn't good enough. Its about making that green
Kylestyle05 3 years ago
I don't dispute that he might sell -some- books to those that are simply curious. However, the book wouldn't gross enough to make it profitable, and would probably be a bad political decision for the publisher anyway. While Kyle here said it bluntly, what he said is true: The book wouldn't sell enough to really be a best-seller right now. It would be bought only by those who want to laugh at the administration, which (right now) isn't the main topic. He'd be better off doing it in a year or two.
KalecLostsol 3 years ago
Really though, if one wanted to see how Bush tries to justify his mistakes, Youtube is full of videos of his desperate attempts to do just that. I could only expect more of the same if he were to write a book.
KalecLostsol 3 years ago

konohahurricane07 3 years ago
I have a complete opposite view of Cenk on this, I would definitely buy Bush's book. Come on, this is the worst president in American history, I think it would be fascinating to see how he thinks and what his rational is for a lot of things.

I agree

George Bush wants to write a book? Come on, its been seven years since 9/11 and I bet you he hasn't even finished reading My Pet Goat first before he even starts writing one of his own! =p

I'd like to see a book on the McCain campaign written by someone high up the chain who's willing to nut up and go on record. I'd like to know the real reaction to the Palin/Couric interview. Enough of the unnamed sources and blind quotes. Give us the real dirt :)
