yea original and the alot of the old blues men used see see rider and thats the lyric, dont know how it got changed, seems the white man gets the blues wrong alot, and whoever dislikes this is a jackass. more people should hear this.

I always thought see, see rider was right (the next line is "see what you done done") - "rider" referring to her lover, who "rides" her during sex. Great recording - and Satchmo on cornet!

The original meaning of the song was C.C. Rider which stood for Country Circuit rider which rode from town to town in the south, usually leaving a string of broken hearts.

@BrandonTxOthor WIKIPEDIA has a pretty good description, "The song uses mostly traditional blues lyrics to tell the story of an unfaithful lover, commonly called easy riders: "See See rider, see what you have done", making a play on the word see and the sound of easy."

She certainly was the first to record the song, but it's a traditional song, meaning nobody really knows who actually wrote it. For all we know, it could date back to at least the 1800s!
