  • what kind of lens is the pocket magnifier, or jewler's loop?

  • its amazing I just finish it

  • i could use this for my homemade telescope project

  • nice

  • Si Kuya ATAKE! Nagmamadali? May pupuntahan? May date?

Pero infairness, ang tilos ng gunting! :)))))))))

  • wow your good.thanks for sharing

  • Good upload,

    and \o/ for the music

  • I would probably buy one on amazon cheaply instead of making homemade one because of the quality differences. But I would make a telescope myself just for fun or decoration to show friends and family.

  • COOL - I MAY TRIED THAT - I BEEN ASKING MOM TO BRING ME A TELESCOPE BUT SHES NOT LISTENING TEHE

    :)

  • Your smart

  • Awesome video.

  • next week kids we'll learn how to make a cell phone using a fishing line and 2 tin cans (preferably RC cola cans)

  • Now run two sets of wire from the inside and mount it on your rifle .

  • amazing video................you are really talented delgadoii, keep up the good work !

  • haha this is pretty cool nice job!

  • watch into sun XD

  • Great idea but it was blurrier than looking at it just with your eyes :):):)

  • not enough strong..

  • This is really creative. Good job. You could paint it black to prevent light you dont want to come in. And going to a dark place, because even if you have a professional telescope you wont see anything in the city. With a laser you could try to locate the focus point and then invent a mechanism to focus on objects. You see everything upside down because the loop does that. You cant fix it, even proffesional telescopes have it.

  • @kaas94 thanks so much for all the info... I will try to do that... all the best. and thanks again

  • @kaas94 Compound refractor telescopes do not have a parrallaxed image

  • С такими линзами Галелей бы сделал намного больше открытий

  • @inferno1708 Да, "Галилео" будет гордиться! спасибо.

  • @delgadoii да не "Галелео", а Галелей-учёный был такой!

  • lol i can see further w/o using anything

  • dum ass !! Nyc job

  • i can see moon upside down how can i fix it?

  • this is almost as cheap as my toilet paper roll telescope

  • don't have a jewler's loop. is it ok if i use another lupe? or a smaller lupe?

  • thats cool

  • lol how do you focus?

  • It's not working, u suk, but you'll be cool if you tell me how to fix it

  • I tried turning everything around in every possible way but it turns everything upsidedown and further away

  • You also can do with PVC plastic tube.

    thanks

  • a joderse la vista

  • That is so cool

  • Nice job! I like it when people actually be creative and think outside the box.

  • does anyone know where can i get the r c cola bottle, i have the rest of the materials but no r c bottle only pepsi and coke

  • Okay, it's almost against my will to admit this, but it's pretty friggin' cool...well done man, well done....

  • Very nice work, though I have a question,.

I´ve heard that the diameter of the magnify is important... and I´m just wondering whether the telescope will work even though the magnifyer isn´t as big as yours.

    Thanks in advance ! :D

  • Good job, I suppose its a good project for someone who just wants to make one for a 'buzz'. 5 stars.

  • @sammy68291 @sammy68291 ... lol... “If you think education is expensive, try educating this ignorant bastard!”... what the hell do Jews have to to with this??.. I forgive your Ignorance and will hit the IGNORE button on you!!..

  • good job trying to make a crapy telescope u jew

  • wow great "mini" telescope! =) 5/5

  • what was the eyepiece?

  • Eww RC -__-

  • It's called a jewler's loop, not a pocket magnifier.

  • @PortalTutorials a Jewler's Loop it is... thanks!

  • I like the ominous pan down to the building at the end. It's a cliffhanger. lol

  • And ..i see E.T.i on the moon:))

  • are both lenses converging or is the smaller one diverging?

  • @derrynator They are both converging lenses. The way to tell is the orientation of the image. Notice how the moon was upside down? That means the magnification power is negative. If the eyepiece lens were a negative lens, the image would be rightside up because your eye would be seeing a virtual image of the moon. If you are interested google simple Keplerian and Galilean telescopes.

  • @MrVoiceofreason123 Thanks for the help :)

  • that was pretty cool indeed

  • I like R.C. cola... mmm royal crown.. so this is a refractor type, not reflector right? the rainbow looking thing is very awesome as well. also I'm color blind so i cant hear very well. I'm hungry

  • Cheap! just like the cola. LOL!

  • Buy silver.

  • Thanks balzerbarn, I'll keep that in mind... it does make sense... dranomania the BIG one is a Magnifying glass the small one is a pocket magnifier. I stole my grandma's!!! lol...

great comments guys... keep them coming... and always remember!

“Everything that irritates us about others can lead us to an understanding of ourselves.”

  • Music's not so ugly. I wouldn't replace it.

P.S. Nice job with cheap lenses, possibly you'll improve optical performance putting a smaller hole in front of the objective lens.

  • What are the 2 scopes again?

  • Hmm, not really a telescope. This is more of a magnifier.

I dont think it would gather any significant amount of light (To see any better than your eye can).

But.. I may be wrong, nice work.

  • Alright, I guess I'll make the smart ass remark....who the hell drinks R.C. Cola? :-P LoL All kidding aside, not a bad homemade telescope though.

  • I saw this on MacGyver once...But he used a watch crystal and newspaper.

  • great work :). I love people with diy stuff :).

    Keep it up,

    Erik

  • N oil drum?

  • Hmm... Very cool. Would you consider making that at a larger scale? Say with a

  • OK OK OK Guys... I am now taking Suggestions for the music I should put on this video... so vote away!!!...

The music did sound a bit hip back in the day.. but ok... it does sound kinda annoying after a while...

leave your "good" "bad" Comments but remember if you are going to criticize me be creative! heheh.

    BIRKAT HACHAMA

  • @delgadoii Is that the moon you were looking at, or was it a planet? What was that? LoL

  • @YeshuaisYahweh1 i think its venus

  • great movie EXCELLENT MUSIC ...... everywhere i look on youtube their is always hater comments .... why? go away haters go and hate the world elsewhere

  • Very cool, and very resourceful!!!

  • nice very nice where the hekll i get a pocket magnifier is that a small

  • that's awesome!! very creative!

  • coooooooooooooool XD

  • if i zoom in on my camera i can see better

  • Great video, Great Idea, if someone wants more, please send me 5000.00 and he will make an special video for you and will send you a nice industrial telescope.

  • what is that first thing you stick to bottle?

  • ive never heard bout poecket magnefire

  • that was amazing for broad daylight, i bet you can see jupiter and two moons like that lol

  • wonderfull video, it can be used for making large binoculars by using the lens of a old argentic enlarger, some have 6 inches lens inside, i'll try to make one

  • name of music please ?

    Amazing telescope :D

  • next week a we show you how to make a a gay defender which stops you being bum raped

  • WOW!!! That's cool!

  • wow, nice homemade telescope :D

  • @obaidhrs ... Wow coming from you I would have to say that u probably never made anything productive in your life because u spend most of the time judging instead of being productive!... I welcome criticism but when it comes to ignorant people calling me Idiot of the Year... wow bravo... you are "The Smartest kid around these neck of the woods" great comment!...“The greatest ignorance is to reject something you know nothing about”.

You are Ignorant!... but thanks for the comment!.

  • very cool.

  • Wow! very creative, wish I'd of thought of this before I bought a telescope, what it cost, $5?

  • excellent 10/10!!!

  • They still make RC Cola?... wow!!! have not seen it since the 90's!!!... hehehe... I should of taken the sticker out first... oh well... I like Pepsi better!!!

  • pretty sure this is a sublimina RC Cola commercial disguised as a homemade telescope how-to video - i got proof...after I watched this video I did not make a telescope I ran to the store.......

  • show me how to make one so powerful that it can seen Jupiter like my meade telescope which is 3.5 inches cause i want to know if its possible

  • silly music

  • really nice

  • Is that venus that your looking at?

  • @josephafa moon, cmon, Venus at day, and its not high like this in the sky lol

  • @bengacris yes I apoligize for this inaccuracies in my preception on this video the main reason why is that in this video it looks very small. I think the music is pretty cool fuck all these haters. I dont know much about astronmy but I figured you could be on the other side of the world where Venus's orbit is higher. I usually can see Venus around 6 - 7pm in AZ where there is still light out at this time. So yeah sorry im ignorant.

  • @josephafa the moon you idiot

  • great , thank you!

  • Nice this looks cool ( you spelled cool wrong in the info )

  • that is the worst music , i've ever heard. why not try some Rush tom sawyer. HMM

  • you should use that to look at the sun. I love rc cola its hard to find here.

  • @matt986423 Not at all a good idea.

  • thats pretty badass

    i wanna make one now

just gotta get the pocket magnifier lol

  • the only reason it wont work is because its a RC cola bottle.

  • Nicely done. :)

  • Nice.

  • nice video, howeva youtube's not gud for hot girl videos. defo check out Rudey tube , brilliant videos

  • Oh wow,ingenious!!! Omg,I'm gonna make one of those right quick!!! Haha,simple,but brilliant,thank u for sharing!!! ~Lady T ;D

  • this seems pretty cool

  • Hi.

I'm just wondering if you are using 1, 1,5 or 2 litre bottle? I've tried to copy you but mine doesn't seem to work, and I belive that it has to do with the bottle.

    Thanks!

  • I bet you could look str8t into the sun with that thing. Have you tried it. LOL I am kidding nice work man.

  • Wouldnt it be better with the tube painted black inside? I doubt you have abberation issues ;)

  • @Spraycando - black paper lining will do the trick - something has to be left for your brainbox to sort out! Well done Delgadoii;-))

  • @Spraycando There was some chromatic aberration. Though with cheap lenses that's to be expected.

  • Yaawwn!

  • I'd rather use my eyes :)

  • pretty good power for that thing

  • You should bring it to Stellafane. :)

  • you have use two magnifiers eh?

  • This is pretty awesome.

  • Good job, I like this!!!!!

  • good job what else do u make?

  • Would a 10x magnifier be okay as a pocket magnifier for this? Confused! Please help :(

  • @soner4321 You can use any two positive lenses, you have to space them apart so that the focal lengths match up. Good simple Keplerian or simple Galilean telescope.

  • or just go buy a cheap telescope for like 50 bucks

  • @drew01985 Or you could actually do an experiment like this and actually learn something about optics.

  • I love shit like this. :)

  • where i can get a pocket magnifier??

  • where I get pocket magnifier

  • Music is annoying.

  • youre right dude...

  • Well if I'm ever stranded on a desert island with a pocket magnifier, an RC cola bottle, a large magnifying glass, and I feel like doing some astronomy, I'll know what to do.

  • @scottohscott

This is a good video, but I had to LOL at your sarcasm.

    DuetsDreams

  • @scottohscott you would need some tape lol

  • @scottohscott don't forget the tape.

  • its game for children... if 1st glass was 0,5diopters and 2d glass - with focal length = 2sm it will be HomeMade Telescope

    with 100x magnification

    sorry for my english

    I'm ukrainian

  • more like monocular hah

  • Can I see Andromeda with this?

  • WOW!!!! thats so..... cool

  • song name?

  • I love the chemtrail first thing he looks through it

  • I gotta try this.

  • what is maginfication?

  • magnification is how many times the object looks closer to you, for example if magnification is 2 then the object is 2 times closer to you so if an oblect was 10meters away from you and you look at it with camera which magnifies 2 times the object looks 5 meters away now. If magnification is 100 then the object looks 100 times closer to you. Hope it helps:)

  • can we see saturn vth this?

  • Nah, sad but true, you need like 150 x magnification too watch saturn :(

  • simple and great, keep it up

  • can v see planets vth this?

  • i changed the distance between lens but nothing has changed...thank for help...but i'll buy telescope from italy...here are cheap..

  • wats the tiny peice??? at the tip?

  • where did you buy the pocket telescope?

  • l tried to make this think home..but l dont see the image normally....and i see up side down...what must l do????maybe add one more lens?????

    sorry if l didn't write correctly....i'm not from USA.....:D

  • That is by design. The upside down image is caused by the len. This is similar to the reflection on a spoon, which is upside down.

  • its probably out of focus, try changing the distance between the two lens

  • same thing happens with a microscope

  • FUCK I JUST NEED A PLASTIC NBOTTLE!!!

  • it's a stone Luigi, you didn't make it!

  • it's a football!

  • well what are you waiting for? throw me a pass

  • **throwing**

    WTF...BOOOOOM!!!

  • NEAT..!

  • what is da song

  • scary music...

  • nice! I should make one, all I need is pocket magnifier.

  • lmao, this here is my cat

  • Ive seen craters on the moon with my telescope :D. Its so cool.

  • lmao.

  • Its a magnifying glass idiot..

    oh and stfu.

  • i was 11 when i made my first telescope, it isnt hard if the stuff is luckily meant to focus throught those lenses...

  • Hey great idea, thanks for the video.

  • wow man that is really cool. you are very cabron ese

    XP

sorry but i'm learning to speak english
