  • great animation...

  • I GOT SPURS,THAT JINGLE JANGLE JINGLEEE

  • Opposing Force...

  • is this the one that crashed in afghanistan that they then blew up, and so they say forgot to secure the flight recorder so as to make sure no one knows that those rollsroyce piece of shit fire starters are just going to kill more poor bastards who just want to fly choppers anyway and not some thing that does it own thing and that prefers the hanger to the blue sky it likes to fall out of.?

  • I live in henderson!! <3

  • They actually exist this is amazing then again looks difficult to fly

  • the air force shouldn't never got rid of the ch-53 pavelow great for csar and great aircraft.not a big fan cv-22 for combat ops

  • How does one learn to fly these things?

  • @Squarerig join the US airforce or US marines

  • @Squarerig Join NCR or the Enclave

  • new mexico?

  • @jones10395 no, Nellis AFB is in Las Vegas NV, although there are quite a few CV-22's based here in albuquerque. I see them ALL THE TIME. Plus, here in Albuquerque, we don't have palm trees. It gets too cold in the winter.

  • i for some reason the cv 22s sound like huge cats purring

  • Damn, the boomers have some serious fire power!

  • russia can't produce these birds :-( we must copy and upgrade it :-)

  • Hm... Nellis AFB... this odd, VERTIBIRD-esque vehicle...

  • I hear that the nacelles are controlled by a thumb wheel. Better not let your finger slip.

  • :|

  • how come i didnt hear it?

  • Looks like Fallout New Vegas xD

  • @opposingman uh no the CV-22 replaced the MH-53 Pave Low it was used primarily as a combat seach and rescue bird. Im stationed at Hurlburt Field. . .

  • i think that this is a sick airplane :o

  • THE ENCLAVE ARE GETTING CLOSER.. WAR WAR NEVER CHANGES

  • :o A Falcon From Halo: Reach?

  • That is so like Fallout.

  • Holy Transformers!!!

  • @opposingman you gotta admit that you set yourself up for that corretion man

  • one of the best multirole airships in the world!

  • holy tech!!

  • from what I hear from guys in the military, the osprey needs its own designated pilots, helicopter pilots don't like them and airplane/fighter pilots don't like them

  • @RoboWii83 ...they're called hermaphrodites.

  • man that V-22 has some giant rotors

  • minute: 0:43 a misile en sky

  • its a falcon

  • Nice video. Hueys were easy targets in Vietnam. Based on videos I have seen, the CV-22 Osprey has slower VTOL than a Huey or Blackhawk. Looks like a better target that a helocopter.

  • its a heli its a plane i dont know what the hell that thing is but its fucking kewl

  • weird design O.o

  • 理想のヘリ 垂直離着陸できる飛行機ですね テストパイロットは命がけですよ!

  • Wow that looked incredibly stable in the wind

  • Almost like Halo Wars and Fallout 3.

  • where are the rumsers?

  • best than falcon's halo reach

  • may i know what camera is this taken with???

  • what about if they mount it with 4 vulcan cannon? that will be fucking amazing :D i love experementing aircraft :D

  • love it, with these we need no airports

  • love it

  • I always love the osprey CV-22

  • i saw one of these at my holiday in new york x)

  • looks like a UFO

  • IS IT A HELICOPTER? OR IS IT A PLANE? NO ONE KNOWS THATS THE FUNNN

  • I saw 3 of these flying over down town Vegas once, it looked awesome! Like a scene from a movie or something.

  • Why is it sooo quiet?

  • @trechan Had 1 of these land at my school, trust me, they aren't quiet lol.

  • @theroastedtoast what kind of school is that.

  • @trechan Just a regular High School, but we have a Marine Corps JROTC program there so when it was Marine Week in Boston they made a trip out to us.

  • @trechan why should a heli be loud, its suppose to be quiet

  • You took this at the landfield. I helped plant those palm trees. LOL You must be a 3E2X1.

  • U.S.A.F. uses the word "recovery" too...

  • halo reach falcon

  • Reminds me of the falcon of Halo: Reach...

  • I love that rotor transition

  • So beautiful

  • AVATAR!!!!!! FIRST THING THAT COMES IN MIND

  • falcon from halo reach

  • @ShizeaKid im almost certain that thats whats its based on

  • @ShizeaKid That's what I thought

  • awesome

  • what is his top speed?

  • @djomercohen 51241

  • Are Ospreys stil notorious for crashing, or has that been fixed ?

  • @ostieguy That has been fixed. When you have new technology, you should always expect problems. The M-16 was prone to blow up when it was first made. Now they are fairly reliable as long as they are taken care of properly.

  • @TheGarog No the bullet measures were in-accurate when shot......the bullets went off inside the barrel to early due to this fact........but the problem wa fixed by making improved bullet measurements for the gun.

  • Car at 1:26?

  • EMERGENCY AIRDROP ON THE WAY!!

  • @fireshot22 im pretty sure c-17's drop emergency airdrops

  • so is nellis AFB actually area 51? or are they 2 different things? im confused....

  • @kevin462 they are two different places.

  • You are so lucky.

  • DAAAMN !!

  • @opposingman the mh53 was not mostly used as a gunship...stop playing so many video games

  • @afmikeh too bad they got rid of them. . .loved the pave low

  • @The1fastrex The Air Force was the only branch that got rid of the Ch-53 or the Mh-53, the Marine Corps and Navy still use them mostly for transporting equipment to the shore for the Marines on the ground.

  • @jacobw992 The Air Force never had CH they were thinking about getting them to replace out HH-60 Pave Hawks but the plan failed. . . I know the Navy uses the MH-53 i think they call them Super Stallion's

  • @The1fastrex Actually the Air Force did use it from Vietnam till about three years ago and it was called the Super Jolly Green Giant

  • @afmikeh No. MH53 is a Cargo/Troop Carrier. They used .50 cals or any gun's on the side that can defend themselves.

  • This is one of my most favourite VTOL aircraft evermade.

  • I don't like Ospreys....they scare the shit out of me..I am just too old I guess.

  • thats what my cuzzon flys

  • @Vforceboy good for him

  • Could you try to get a flyby video of the CV-22 with its' rotors in forward flight configuration? That would be neat to hear.

  • is it an helicopter or a plane

  • @mrcoolanden both :)

  • "Recovery" (I.E. Launch and recovery from a carrier deck) Does not specificly mean recovery of a downed aircraft. it can mean landing, emergency landing, crash landing, search and rescue, etc etc.

  • @shadowblade145 I hear you. We launched and recovered sorties all the time in the U.S. Air Force.

  • @shadowblade145

it goes much further than that but you are spot on...if a plane leaves and you are on a team that sent it out...its a launch

if you are part of the team ready to debrief and tuck the plane into bed at night..it is a recovery.

    plane goes out=launch

    plane comes in=recovery

    simple as that

  • that's true. It looks like in Fallout.

But why they put the Pave Low out of service for this? Pave Low looks more powerfull and all

  • cv 22 reminds me of the fallout3 vertibirds

    its so cool

  • About 0:50 it looks like the windows/surface of the CV-22 have a bunch of NV dust/sand on them.

  • Title says recovery..A recovery is the retrieval of a downed aircraft or an aircraft in flight that is out of control that the pilot "recovers" or regains control. This video is an approach for landing. In CV-22 terms, this is also called transition. Where the rotor system is transitioned from forward flight to hover. AKA "Tilt rotor"

  • Comment removed

  • So all those times in UPT I requested "recovery" from the working area back to base?

  • Recovery refers to the operations at Nellis, eg Launch, and recovery. Because of the excersises they operate in launch mode where they are trying to get as many aircraft up and recovery mode where they are trying to get as many aircraft down as possible.

  • He refer to the term ''Coming Back'' wich you can get easily. And taking the fact that he aploud hundred of videos with the same term, its more easily and good looking put ''CV-22 Recovery'' beside ''CV-22 Approach for landing''. In my opinion.

  • A recovery is also a maintenance term for receiving aircraft and debriefing aircrews for any mechanical issues they had that flight.

  • @hcoptertx Since we're getting all technical these days, it's not called a "transition" when Ospreys are coming in for a landing... we call it a "conversion". When we take off, then we transition to airplane mode.

  • @Mmelmann all good, been nothing but arguments on here...my whole thing is..its not a recovery..but oh well..recover it...

  • thats so cool

  • i think i see a new navy aircraft for recovery

  • I always wanted to see that part of landings. I also want to see it with a harrier or f-35

  • cobra cloud at 0:26

  • lol

  • whats a cobra cloud

  • it's a cloud in the background that looks like a cobra, as in the snake.

  • great vid, also great is the flying of these pilots.nice changing from position of the rotors in front of you

  • ufo at 1:20?

  • Helicopter at 1:20?

  • @shadddey5

    yep lol.

  • @shadddey5 and?

  • @shadddey5 Bell UH-1N Twin Huey

  • @shadddey5 Thats Metro police (MD500)

  • @shadddey5 who knows news chopper or some patrol helicopter, etc>>>

  • @shadddey5 Thats the entire point of the Osprey, tilt-rotor :P

  • @shadddey5 it looks like a kiwola warrior

  • @shadddey5 yes

  • yes

  • do the CV-22 use twin rotar tech?

  • What base is the CV-22 from?

  • Hurlburt Field, FL

i work on them here, that's my unit that went to Nellis

  • bad to the azz, Those are so wicked to watch! Thanks 4 the post!
