The hidden story intention is to inform the audience that Paradise is a earth. and the meaning behind this word(Paradise) is the your happy moment when you met and had a very fantastic time with your friends who you lived, ate, dreamed and had a fun time together.That is what means by Paradise. However searching for it was useless in the story because they already found Paradise when the met their friends.( That's what I think) What do you think?

I listened to this piece while I was on a midnight road trip to the Great Ocean Road in Australia a month ago, with millions of stars overhead and the calming sounds of the ocean waves crashing in the distance... And then the breaking of dawn at the climax of the song. Now whenever I hear this song I'm transported back to that magical night :) 'Rakuen' (Paradise) indeed.

Actually that was a different song. Very similar but the one that played in ep. 30 is the hidden track on the second album. They are pretty much exactly the same except for a few minor differences. Good song though.

The ending of Wolf's Rain isn't sad, not really. The world is destroyed, but it comes back, many times more beautiful than it was before. Beauty is not a sustainable state of being, but it is far more sturdy than it seems, and when it comes from death it is only more wonderful. Life from death is one of the most joyous things there is, and death and renewal are both parts of a healthy world. That is Paradise, I think, not some unattainable alternate dimension.

@orbitmoonstar It is a very good anime, just skip the recap episodes. I was randomly blown away by some of the more powerful moments included. The storyline's fairly odd, but that's true for a lot of anime. I'd recommend watching it.

Wolf's Rain music is very unusual. You dont find to much like it, and as for the anime... The best I have ever seen. When they come up with an Okami anime, thats when this will be beat. But for now, one of my personal favorites. And opinionated, best.
