Hey very well done with this video. one quick tip to make this a whole lot better. if you go to a website like videocopilot or something like that you can find out how to change the sky. if you would've made dark clouds in the sky it would've been a lot cooler. but overall very well done!

You could have added a adjustment layer to make it look more ominous if not a sky placement but good job all in all.

You can change the transfer mode by toggling the F4 Button. On the timeline window, it will turn on the transfer mode options.

The whole Effect is awesome, including the lightning, but the effect of the lightning hitting the street lights is visible that isn't real. The rest is wonderful!!!!

In the After Effects Effects and Presets tab, type in CC Rain. If you have a recent version of After Effects, it should be there. :]

i thought everything was great save for the lightning strike...you could probably make better sparks in trapcode..plus, when lightning hits, it does more of a BOOOOOOOM than a ZZZZT!! The sound really helped to sell the effect..

True, the lightning striking the pole did look kinda fakey, and the sparks definetely could have been better. :)
