  • Nice vid thanks !can you help with question I have I dont have a flash dryer and I printed with that pastirsol ink i thought air dry was ok and sure enough it melted XD so my question is I have heat gun with high and low setting will that do the job until I get a flash dryer ? How do I apply it without burning shirt?thanks for your videos!peace

  • @bullet101ANDSUM Hey there, glad you like my videos. You can use a heat gun to cure plastisol inks but it will be difficult to be consistent and at times hard not to burn the tee shirt fabric. You may want to try a more even and wider heating device. I’ll send you a video on some options for this. Good luck! Thanks for watching and leaving a comment! ☠

  • Very helpfull videos man.....I'm trying to make about 30 shirts only I can't find any shirts under $2.....do you know of anywhere I can get good shirts for under $2

  • @Sariapi Thank you very much. I'm happy to hear my videos are helping you out. I'm not sure of anywhere you can order 30 pieces and get them for under two dollars especially if they are black or colored T-shirts. Plus you have to consider shipping. But sourcing T-shirts is not the sort of thing I can really help you out with. Thanks for watching and leaving a comment! ☠

  • @Sariapi to Turkey

u can buy tees there in kilos.. i think is way cheaper than wholesales..

  • @Sariapi Google "the adair group" it's the cheapest black tees I've been able to find and they're great quality

  • i see you use alot of t-shirts in your printing. do you buy your shirts in bulk and if so, how many do you order/purchase at a time? i've been trying to find simple, slim white shirts without labels for printing my own designs. many thanks, enjoying your videos!

  • @Fuelove1 Hey there, thanks! I’m glad you like my videos. I only order and purchase my garments for orders. So I normally get a 50% deposit on most all orders before I get the shirts to print. It’s safer that way so I don’t get stuck with printed or blank tees which can happen. Thanks for watching and leaving a comment! ☠

  • Never seen anyone push away with the squegee to print!

  • @NotGuiltyMag I understand that because before I came out to the west coast I never saw anyone pull the squeegee to make a print. I did a video comparing the 2 methods against one another. Check out my video collection for that. Thanks for watching and leaving a comment! ☠

  • Do you personally like screen printing or heat transfer machines better and why? Also, is there much difference in how much you spend to make them? Im considering going into business and would like an honest opinion thanks!

  • @bethany2nirvana I prefer screen printing and that is what I do commercially. I do not use heat transfers for commercial work. Screen printed designs look better, last longer and are cheaper on large print runs. But there is a lot of work involved in screen printing. Check out my other videos for more on that. And my website too! Thanks for watching and leaving a comment! ☠

  • Really cool!!!!

  • Is it possible to silk screen a gradient on a tee shirt? If so how?

  • @EpicHawk Yes, you have to do a halftone. It’s dots that make up the shading. You can learn more on the Catspit website. Link is in the video description and on the channel page. Thanks for watching and leaving a comment! ☠

  • @CatspitProductions Hi mate. Thanks for your useful videos. Just want to ask

about printing "Honeycomb" shirts. I use 100 mesh screen to print and I really

have a hard time for good results. The ink's results got scattered and dirty. I've

been printing all kinds of garments and everything's just fine. Thanks

  • @rJasonful Not exactly sure what you mean by honeycomb shirts. Athletic mesh? But if you are having resolution problems, generally moving to a higher mesh count should help. Thanks for watching and leaving a comment! ☠

  • What kind of dryer did you use?

  • @ThisVansKid I use and sell RANAR belt dryers. Mine is the Curestar 4000. You can see videos of all my equipment including a shop tour from the channel page video collection. Thanks for watching and leaving a comment! ☠

  • @ThisVansKid i my self do screen-printing,i would ask this same question.

  • @harrieplummie The dryer is a RANAR Cure Star 4000. I sell this equipment and you can learn more about it on the Catspit Productions website. Look for the Equipment Sales page in the navigation tab. Thanks for watching and leaving a comment! ☠

  • Hey guys I'm doing some research on screen printing, I'm really interested in it and trying to learn few basics! After using the mesh screen for a particular design is it possible to clean the screen and reuse it for a different design? Or you have to get a completely new mesh screen to do new art work... Thanks!

  • @VENUEATHENS You can remove the stencil with an emulsion remover and recoat the screen for more uses. You can do this many times before the mesh wears out. Check out the Catspit website for the full run down on the process. The link is on the channel page. Thanks for watching & commenting! ☠

  • @CatspitProductions thank you I appreciate that, I am definitely looking into it... Started buying some supplies to give it a shot!

  • @VENUEATHENS No problem! You can get discounts on screen printing supplies on the Catspit website too. Feel free to ask questions anytime! ☠

thank you very much for your reply

if you have a customer from Indonesia?

how can I order your products?

I am very pleased to see your video because a lot of lessons I can from you, once again thank you very much

  • @DIKART09 You’re welcome. Glad you like my videos, thanks. I’m sorry but I can only ship within the continental United States currently. Perhaps as I grow I will be able to send more products abroad. For now only inkjet film and tee shirts are old internationally. Thanks for watching & commenting! ☠

  • Greetings Hello, I want to ask something about screen printing plastisol

whatever material is needed to mix the plastisol ink

and how to reduce the amount of excess oil for texture

    plastisol does not look shiny

and what is the appropriate mesh for palstisol with a stencil design drawings

    thanks in advance

  • @DIKART09 I buy my ink mixed in the bucket. There are additives you can mix in to make a matt finish. Your mesh count will depend on the artwork and perhaps the thickness of the ink being printed. Thanks for watching & commenting! ☠

  • way to go ! really nice but do you know if there are any stencils to buy for people like me who does not know to draw? once again ... amazing job!

  • @sweethingish Thank you very much! No stencils per se but you can buy clip art which you make your own screens from. Check out the Catspit website for great deals on clip art collections. See the Print Supplies page. You can also check out free clip art under the Tips & Advice section. The link is on the channel page or in the video description. Thanks for watching & commenting! ☠

  • i left my plastisol ink outside and it was submerged with water. Is the ink still good?

  • @426152 I’m not sure, I guess it depends if the ink got dirt and debris in it too. The ink shouldn’t mix much with the water but I am not a chemist. I would use new ink unless it’s just for a few home brew prints. Thanks for watching and commenting! ☠

  • sweet !!! a screen saver application. . . I 'm using a water based ink on the shirts i print... if i try this method, is there a bad effect, like bleed and covering the detail of the shirt?.... and lastly, you must do this in 1 direction? or let my imagination and curiosity fly in doing this?

  • @boombust9000 Water based inks tend to be thinner than plastisol inks so there may be blending on an accelerated level. You may have to reset the blend more often than with plastisol inks. And yes, you should let your imagination fly with this one. There are no set rules. Just experiment and have fun! Thanks for watching and commenting!

  • buen video cuantas veces puedo utilizarlo asi grasias

  • @o12836 De nada. Es para mí un placer ayudar y compartir información. Gracias por mirar y comentar!

  • I love watching your videos. I'm very much trying to learn to print. You explain and demonstrate what you are doing in a very clear way that I can follow. is there any books you can suggest that may be helpful for when I can't access a computer? also if I was to try to mix/ use regular paint and like white ink?

  • @erinburgezz Thanks, glad you like the videos. There is a Book Store page on the Catspit website under the Print Supplies tab. It has all of the books I have found about screen printing for sale online. I wouldn’t recommend mixing paint and screen printing ink. If that is what you mean. If it is the same type of ink, then it is o.k. There’s an ink mixing page on the website too! Thanks for watching and commenting!

  • The shirt would be awesome if it didn't have the butterfly, I still Liked the video though.

  • @tazFRAGS LOL… It is actually a “girls” design. So I can understand what you are saying. But the snake and rose are very cool. Hand drawn stuff. Thanks for watching and commenting!

  • I find it very interesting that you have taken the time to respond so quickly and truthfully that is a great trait 1 that has shifted my attention from spending lots of money on ryonet with cheap usless videos made for marketing, to you and youre buisness i am a welder in alberta canada oil rich! and am really clueless i tried to find youre video you mentioned on the sprays no dice and on the web page i couldnt find them either please help as my lil buisness is outrunning me!!

  • @dobbieman1 Thanks, I appreciate your sentiments. I am a real screen printer with real world experience. I would hope my videos are found to be much more useful than your ordinary “how to” marketing video designed to sell product. My goal is to teach first, then to help my “students” find the things they want and need to print. Check your private messages because I sent you the info about the spray tacks and such. Thanks much for your support!

  • THANKS FOR THE GREAT VIDEO I WAS CURIOUS WHAT KIND OF SPRAY ADHESIVE DO YOU USE?

  • @dobbieman1 I use Sprayway pallet adhesives. I did a video on them and you can get a discount on them through the Catspit website’s Print Supplies page. Check out my videos to learn more about them and see the website to get your supplies discount. Thanks for watching and commenting!

  • As always - Great Video Jon.

    Very helpful.

From Daniella, - The UK Fan Club.

    I’ll write soon.

  • @daniellacatton Hey there! Always good to hear from you. Glad you like the video. Thanks for watching and commenting!

  • good way to save money on screens... but it is just... so not precise. not good for a bulk order if u ask me.

  • @fastr1337 I have seen it done on larger print runs but I agree with you. I wouldn’t want to do a large order like this. The blend changes over time and eventually needs to be started again. At some point you have to clear the ink off and start over. It’s really a special effect good for certain jobs and certain designs. Like a 12 piece order you want to spice up. Thanks for watching and commenting!

  • Great video, Thanks!

  • @DustenDee Not a problem. It’s my pleasure to help out and share information. I'm glad you like the video. Thanks for watching and commenting!

  • AWESOME

  • @layerba714 Thanks much! I appreciate the comment!

  • Great stuff! Thanks!

  • @severedcinema No problem! It’s my pleasure to help out and share information. Thanks for watching and commenting!

  • Thank you very much for all your videos

But I have a query about whether the painting full of color

I mean if there is to identify and interior colors and out line Will take the same way or do we add one color every time ?

i hope you can under stand what i mean

    Thank you again

  • @noodaterika You’re welcome. I think you are asking about printing a solid color “fill” with an outline. That would be done with 2 different screens set up in the press at the same time. For a multi color design we print the colors separately. They line up with each other. Check out my other videos for multi color print demos. Thanks for watching and commenting!

  • @CatspitProductions Thank you very much

This is exactly what i want to know

something like cartoon print .. u know

I really benefited from your videos .. thank you & i hope u make video with a cartoon print if u can please

  • @noodaterika You’re welcome. It’s my pleasure to help out and share information. I’ll do my best to satisfy. Thanks for watching & commenting!

  • Thank you

  • Another great video, thanks Jonathan

  • @Pharcyde2293 You’re welcome. It’s my pleasure to help out and share information. Thanks for watching and commenting!

  • Thanks alot I have been wondering how you get more than one color on the same shirt

  • @Zoombah3 You’re welcome. But you know that is not really the way we print multi color jobs. This is a blend or a spilt fountain which makes a 1 color screen print with 2 colors. For a multi color design we print the colors separately. Check out my other videos for multi color print demos. Thanks for watching and commenting!

  • @CatspitProductions I most definitely will! Thanks alot for the great videos!

  • @Zoombah3 My pleasure; thanks for your support!

  • what costs? about 100 t-shirts

  • @IgSlis Not sure what you are asking… Thanks for watching!
