  • Awesome, very educational to. I support women that do things for themselves such as this. Don't let your bodies be cages.

  • I love seeing women do Capoeira well

  • I was on a group who had a guy whos 50 something almost 60 and a woman who was at the beggining of the 50's. They had more stamina and endurance than most of the younger ones.

  • well then that gives me hope!

  • I turned 45 last month and I still do capoeira. And I do quite well thanks.

    The Chemist

  • and more hope still. I'm 43 and wonder if I can move like that. capoeira; if I get it right is about flow and there always a flow avaible no matter what you just gotta go at your own pace so I figure.

  • "I turned 45 last month and I still do capoeira"

And didn't your head come off?

  • do you have some sort of competitions of capoeira where you actually hit eachother with the kicks?

  • I'm sure with those kicks they accidently knocked each other out a few times.

  • this is awesome...by the way i thought this was women capoeira?

  • as far as i'm aware...those ARE women. it was a women's event...but they did allow guys. i mean, it wasn't exclusive. men came and supported

  • this is awesome...by the way i thought this was women capoeira?

  • this is awesome...by the way i thought this was women capoeira?

  • I met and played against the girl at 00:52 during my group's batizado. She's very good and an all around good person who is fun to be around. Oh and cynnycal, i don't know Marcia, i just read alot about her.

  • Where i can get this video.

    Onde posso começar este vídeo.

  • Yes it is! You know her?

  • One of those women towards the end of the video looks like Mestranda Marcia Cigarra from Abada. Is that her?

  • No, it can't be cause she wasn't there...

  • Actually, someone else responded a while ago and said it was not CM Marisa. Thanks for responding though.

  • Nice video. I can understand the seperation aspect. For the reason that at times girls will remain shy at the prescence of lots of men especially if they are good cuz its intimidating. In high school we had some classes that only girls could take for that reason.

  • Yes, I think that is the reason. I think it's just to encourage those that may not think they can keep up with the men. I know they can...but not all women have that confidence, it has to be nurtured.

  • why separete men and women? i prefer all togheter......

  • it wasn't about separation, it was about putting women on the spot(light)... at the end all the women, even the teachers, felt that they got a real boost from this kind of event, all in different ways... and was what it was all about in a culture and world that nevertheless still is dominated by men, and sometimes even very macho... nothing wrong with that, but sometimes it's nice to get an extra push...

  • .....i don t see difference from men and woman........and i know lot of girls better then this teacher

  • i'd hit it

  • nice i think thet the girls are can be good tow
