  • tags are fucking hilarious

  • @theoracularpig Yeah! I bet 50% of all views is by people searching for "gay" "drunk" or "fat". Hahaha! I actually forgot about those funny tag words! :D

  • Damn! This was amazing!"

  • At least in the beginning, you have a very Mark Knopfler type of sound. Very nice.

  • @22metzfan Thanks man! Mark is KNG!! \m/

  • you from sweden?

  • @swedesruleallothers Jajjemän!

  • WOW ! effing amazing. I have 5 guitars and I've never had 2 of them in tune.

  • Great playing ! I just started playing blues, plz check my blues jam (@ my channel) and tell me what you think about it. It would help me alot. Keep the blues alive!

  • how much theory do know and use in your playing?

  • @foofightersforever18 First of all - I don't think theorethical when I play. Secondly - use your ears. I just follow the chords - simply put... If you try to analyze what I do you will see that it's mostly ordinary minor and major scales mixed with pentatonic ones... and some notes in between... Plus alot of slides and bends.

You know... I don't think much about it, I just play. Sounds cliche but that's the truth.

    Thanks for watching dude! ;)

  • @CedricIII i was just curious because i never really learned theory but i think im a pretty good guitarist i much prefer to play whatever im feeling at the time it seems to work for me

  • @foofightersforever18 If you have good ears, then that's the way to go I think. However, it's never wrong to have a good technique and knowing the theory behind what you are doing...

  • Whats the name of the scale? Great playing ;)

  • You're one of the most comfortable looking guitarists I've watched on YouTube. I agree with that other guy - your bends and vibrato rock!

    Awesome jam dude!

  • dude that tone is awesome. Your bends and vibrato are fantastic as well.

  • @kingv911 Thanks man! Still working on them though... having Gary Moore in mind... the KING! R.I.P. ♪♫♪

  • Haha, As soon as ur string broke, i continued playing with my own guitar XD

  • Can you pass me this BT?

  • cool Man :)

  • Very Floydesque, nice man

  • Holy mother of God! That was smokin! Absolutely beautiful! I would give that more than 5 stars. Keep on rockin brother

  • Reminds me of Pink Floyd licks

  • EPIC guitar swap hahah

  • @ravenshield56 Yeah, thanks! You know, I'm so glad that I decided to keep that take, makes me laugh every time! The string breakage unleashed my fukkin fury! LOL!

  • Phuking excellent my friend. Now Gary Moore has vacated the spot, you should take over.

Seriously. I'm lost without Mr Moore.

    Cheers,

    Spud

  • @gjtblackmore Thanks man, but you can't compare me with Mr Moore... even though his playing inspired me alot... but so did alot of other guys too!

  • Can you tell me what model Seymour Duncan Pickups are in the guitar?

I like how they clean up with the guitar's volume knob.

  • @JessieBolt Seymour Duncan JB (bridge) and Jazz (neck).

  • NEED THAT BACKING TRACK, LOL! btw, great shredding, you just have THE feeling.

  • bloody brilliant mate ;]

  • Men ditt spelande låter ju mycket mer smoothare och sådär unique...:D

    Kippis! :D

  • haha nice quick switchoff on guitars, in tune and everything. I'd give that points ata gig, especially if you really need that high E.

  • @FingerLickinGravy67 They are in tune all the time more or less, because I play all guitars almost every day. They need the attention or else they get mad at you and breaks strings and stuff. Guess that's what happened with the Les Paul. I never played it... it's just hanging on the wall, that's the reason I traded it with the Parker Fly - which I don't play that often either, but I like it more than the LP.

  • Comment removed

  • Man you can play. Better than the the crap music thats on nowadays....no groove. I'm grew up in the 80's. I'd love to see you make it to the top.

A lot better than the manufactured music on the talent shows on TV!

  • Damn you're playing good ! Cheers from Finland ! Altså varför kan inte finska gitarrister spela så här bra ? :D

  • @RockMailou Thanks mate! Well... ni har ju Jukka Tolonen... sen har ni ju Matias Kupiainen... nuff said! :D

  • could you tell me tube position?

  • @Timour1612 Don't understand the question...

  • @CedricIII I mistaken. I meant knobs.

  • is it tone just coming from the JCM800 combo ?

  • @rrgert4 Yes, it's only the amps distortion, no overdrive or distortion pedals were used. Just a delay in the fx loop.

  • @CedricIII great

  • You gotta tell me what scales you're using man! Are these the modes or what? I'm trying to improve myself outside of my circle as a blues guitarist, and would like to get somewhere remotely close to this level! :D

  • @airronic I wish I could tell you what scales I'm using, but I really don't know exactly what I'm doing.

I guess it's mostly minor pentatonic mixed with minor/major scales and some notes in between.

I don't think in scales, just playing whatever comes into my head. I like to bend alot, not just the notes that you usually bend. All notes can be bent, LOL. Whatever note you hit-it's never more than ½ a step away from a note that fits, so if you play the wrong note - bend it to the right place! :)

  • I really hope I'll be as good as you someday. Seriously good stuff. Please post more Blues Jam video's when you have the time.

  • fantastic playing. i love it man.

  • @logen99999 Thanks, dude! :)

  • 1:08 "eye brow bend" lol

  • Dude I have the same guitar!!! better stay clear of each other for time paradox reason.

  • @HoboJones10 No need to worry about that, cause I got rid of that piece of unplayable wood... Actually I traded it for a Parker Fly...

But, a month ago, I got myself a new guitar (again...) This time a SG Standard, Cherry red. Much easier to play, weights just a fraction of a LP and is way more rock'n roll than any other guitar! Thanks for watching, dude! :)

  • that's good playin' man !

  • great jam man. i love the tone. nice cool playing. excellent!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.

    greetings from crete greece.

  • very impressive, man!

  • haha good video man, great skills bro

  • man i hate it so much..fucking youtube is full with videos like that but when you go into a club or a bar there are only a few musicians... wish i was in the 70s or 80s where musicians played together on a stage and not only on youtube...

  • Dude, what the hell was 1:49? :o

  • I have an orgasm whit my eyes close, so cool friend!

  • @RedGullArgentina Thanks man. That's an eargasm, isn't it? LOL Ok, so I'll practice a couple of more years and com back later, aight?

  • Dude, Could you please send me that backingtrack?

  • The drums alone where you broke your string actually made this song 10x better. Keep up the work man!

  • Nothing can beat a Les Paul through a Marshall.

  • ye nice guitar playing man ! mw

  • jason newsted left behind metal to play very good blues.....

  • I really like your style of playing! Very fluid.

  • Oh dude, this is amazing.

  • Good lord I wish I can jam like this.

  • your jam gives me lots of emotions. You are a very good guitar player imho. Keep on rockin'!!!!

  • @srock510 Thanks man! :)

  • You are awesome man !!! love the sound.

    Cheers from Holland !

  • @wicker1985 Thanks, man! :)

  • Whats the backing track?...sounds sweet

  • gigalike

  • I bought the same amp thaks to this, even though I play metal and not blues :) Awesome playing. And the part where you broke the string was hilarious :D

  • Comment removed

  • Very very nice.

  • lol at the videos tags.. i came here for the right ones though :P

  • @attu89 Yeah, LOL. I bet the people who found this video searched for "drunk fat gay"! :D

  • that was top notch man.. i really gotta get out of the pentatonic/blues rut.. all i seem to ever play over a blues progression are those 5-6 notes.. while it sounds good and all.. too much repetition makes it a little stale..

how do you follow the chord changes? are you using anything fancy in terms of scales?

  • great shirt, amazing playing!!!

  • That was good man.

  • @Replayer101 Thank you! :)

  • Wow the long bend at 1:35 was killer!!

  • One of my all time Facorite Humble Pie tunes!!!

  • i need an amp that has a good blues tone and lots of distortion for thrash ect. dont really know what to get, thinking about a tiny terror or a marshall. could get one like this but spending 300 plus on an old second hand 1 is risky or are they easy enough to fix if they break? or could get more of an entry level marshall on a small budget about £300-420/ $500 been using a practise amp since i started playing 4 years ago.. would appreciate any suggestions to look at

  • Dude I love it! But you have to find out what the mod is - that's what brought us here. Oh and like what time in the early hours did you do this? I bet 2am? If you could have borrowed the amp longer perhaps you could have made a new vid without the string snapping. Great responsive amp with great feel playing mostly.

  • @macman8680 The guy that I borrowed the amp from sold it just a month after I returned it to him, so I can't do another vid with it... As he told me the mod was to get the EQ to do more, also channel two got two different volume and gain knobs, so it was practically a three channel amp, or a two channel amp with a separate boost function. It didn't add gain, just reduced the non boosted channel two so that you get more in solos - or the normal amount. So, this amp has nothing special to it...

  • very good! sounds like HUMBLE PIE " LIVE WITH ME "!!

  • I like this alot! and the blues gets me everytime! please check me out, im just starting! and i improv things to the blues!

  • sick playing man...I gotta practice as I ve got back into the blues.

  • Can u give me any practice tips? like what to work on in terms of scaling? greatly appreciated!

Great vid and playing bro! ;)

Oh yeah.. and if I can get that bracktrack too that would be great!

  • @sudeki009 Well, my playing isn't really complicated. It's mostly ordinary minor and major scales mixed with pentatonics... Stick with that, follow the chords, make sure to learn those scales in all positions so you don't get stuck. The trick is to hear it in the head, cause it's not technically hard to play. Also what I do alot is to play scales in a horizontal way rather than vertical, if you know what I mean. Bends and vibratos are also crusial...

Send a PM for the backing track...

  • @CedricIII Thanks! I have been sticking with vertical scaling for awhile now just to get used to the fingering and position and I think its time to take it to the next step using horizontal scaling. I also have to get used to the other positions in the scale like you said. Thanks for the tips and I will send u a PM ASAP.

  • Seriously badass dude. Love the JCM 800 combo!

  • I think I am selling my MESA Rack units. Nice TONE!!!

  • Excuse me, what is the back track you are using? Could I get a copy and post my interpretation?

  • @supermanjamil1992 Of course, send me a PM and I'll give you a link...

  • GREAT !

  • BEUTEEFULL

  • Great playing, and beautiful guitar !!

Check out my 10 year old son jamming with his Epiphone with Seymour Duncan Alnico II pro pickups in the video responses box.

Look for "El blues de Nicolás"

    :)

  • hey dude great playing..really smooth and melodic..do u have the backing track so i give you my email and send it to me? :)

  • Hi, I have just recently been interested in the marshall amps for my blues sound but forgive my ignorance, but what is the mod. 4210? This is the best sounding jcm 800 i have heard and awesome playing.A+

  • @paramedic6801 4210 is the model number. It was also modified in some way, I don't know what has been done inside the amp. I just borrowed it from a friend for a couple of days, so I really don't know anything more about it.

    Thanks! _:)

  • this is what music needs to get back to - guitar based rock/blues

  • You rock.

  • Damn headphones.... -_-

  • @dmonks40 Exactly, "they caused the string breakage, I'd better throw them on the floor", LOL!

  • Nice amp!!! Love the sound bro! great playing..

  • dude, at the begginin I was like: well.... a gibson, a marshall and blues, already seen this before, alright.... but dude... YOU ARE FUCKIN AWESOME!!!!!1!! I am amazed, you rocked the hell out of this amp :D keep kickin assess

  • @dorillo765 Very kind of you. Made me really glad! Thanks pal! And you watched it twice?? Great, I may have done something right after all.... :)

  • hhheyy bro....great playing man!!! you get that tone from that combo? i heard that style from a record before...i cant remember now....yuo got Page, Gary Moore,.....

    great playing man....cool video too.

  • du är svensk va=D

  • @philippe10000 Jajjemän, heja Sverige! :)

  • @CedricIII är jcm 800 bra för typ guns n roses och hårdare rock? jag har kollat en del på den och den verkar grym ;)

  • I love your note selection and phrasing! great tone and playing! I've got a question though, I looked for this backing track and it's not there anymore :( If you still have it could you please send it to me? or tell me where I could download it? I really wanna improv over this track. Either way, your playing is great, and that was the smoothest string-break transition to another guitar that i've ever seen haha.

  • the tone sounds a lot like Slash. Awesome playing.

  • WOW LOVE THE BUTTERFLIES!!! just kidding killer playing great tone that was awesome

  • @MrBluesound Yeah, people keep telling me how much they love my wallpaper! LOL

The amp was really sweet sounding and inspiring to play on, but as I've mentioned before - a little more bass, gain and eq-controls that actually DO something would be highly appreciated.

    Thanks man!

  • YUM!!!!!!!! those licks have emotions in them, you got talent bro many musicians lack they have speed but no emotion in their notes but this is amazing

  • mmmmm... i feel this.. i feel this very much.

  • @spiderman2k5r Thanks! I can feel your feelings and it's hitting me right in my back... LOL!

  • Can you send me the Backingtrack ?

  • I get a kick out of the 26 dislike votes. 26 Lady Gag Gag fan boys got here by mistake, heard real music and freaked out.

  • @ghostwaverider Haha, that's funny written! Thanks man! :)

  • Amazing !! Greaat Sound ... and the feeling you put into it ... No words ....

  • This video is simply amazing.

Yea, and... it's my new ringtone.

  • @skateboarding118 Thanks man! I really appreciate it!

  • I hear pinkfloyd in this, very tasty

  • me and my mate playing original bues tunes on our channel! <<<<<<<<<<<< have a butchers, i dare you!

  • @JDandthePizzaboys I dare not. You guys are freightful! I'm lousy with virginity and drink blood from goats! :D

  • Fucking killer man! Epic playing.

  • @DrivenMind Yeah! \m/ Thanks! :)

  • Why everyone got a les paul, but I don't

  • @Salvodream95 Because Les Paul rocks !

  • @BliVinkS yes, i know, but it's too expensive...

  • really beautiful jammin,,,, could you please tell us where can we get that backtrack?

  • This video is really awesome..

LesPaul rocks Asat rocks you rock, even the broken string is one in a million :))

  • @stevespeeder Thx! I tried several Les Pauls this weekend and as a matter of fact - I miss this Les Paul that I use in this video. I traded it for a Parker Fly a year ago, but I keep getting this second thoughts all the time. Gotta have a LP... The broken string was so funny. I didn't even like what I played, but decided to keep the video just because of the string breakage! LOL. Rock on!

  • I'd love to have that backing track. Can you share what it is? Great playing!

  • Love your les Paul you got there.

  • nice man !

  • Do you like Pink Floyd? Because I hear a little Gilmour in there.

  • @natrat51 To be honest... I never listen to them, I don't have any music by them... so any similarity is highly coincidentally... BUT I have listened some to Gilmour's stuff because people tell me about hearing some influences from him and I can agree to that. At the end, all it's about is melody and feeling. It might sound like Knopfler, Gilmour or whatever, which doesn't really matter... I take it as a big compliment any way and thank you for watching my video! Cheers! / Fredric

  • @CedricIII Hello, I really love the way you play the blues, something between power blues and rock with not common stuff and lots of feeling and verry expressive playing. I frequently watch you video and try to do the same thing ... without succeeding. Congratulations. I think it doesn't worth to ask you if you can give a tabulation of what you play in this video.

  • Nicely done!

Great tones, everything fit perfectly. And very nice recovery! Cheers!

  • nice thouch whit a string :D

  • hahahahah nice whit a string :D

  • awesome tone :)

  • i hear lots of joe satriani =)

  • Nice playing!!!!

That was soooo funny, nice recovery!!!

  • Nice playing!!!!

  • I got the head version of this amp sounds good aswell :)

Great demo of the amp btw.

  • do you remember amp settings?

  • @fedemiglio you are in clean channel?

  • @fedemiglio No, it's the overdrive channel. I'm only using a delay pedal in the effects loop.

  • @fedemiglio No, I don't remember, but I think the bass was on 10, because there was so little bass in the amp. Gain was also at 10, but the rest... I don't remember.

  • @CedricIII

Dude that is awesome!!! I cannot find any other words! i'm listen to this video 20 times a day!

  • man.....im speechless

  • gotta love how you're so into the groove that a broken string aint stopping you from the jam!

  • Perfection

  • the backingtrack please !!! :o this is awesome !! :D great

  • Dude I had forgotten how f**king awesome you are....It's time bro, get another one up.

  • Hey man i love your videos! I am learning guitar and i particularly like bluesy type music. I was wondering how you got to be so good? Was a lot of it self taught or did you take lessons? Have you ever heard the song Last Call by Dixie Witch? IF you haven't you might want to check it out i think you would really like it.

  • @sorvig84 Hey! Thanks!

I'm mostly self taught, but had lessons both when I was like 12-13 but also when I was 17.

I think my "skills" has developed during all these years of playing many different styles and also playing in different bands. You need to play a lot to become a good guitar player. Of course being musical and have good ears helps ALOT! I guess my ears are good. You can train them by copy what you hear. That's the only way I could do it in the 80's cause there were no tabs... ;)

  • @CedricIII Hey, just thought I'd ask: are you using any particular scales or are you just really familiar with the guitar and what strings are you using cause you make your bends and vibratos look really easy!

    Great Playing :)

  • @LewLewBRFC Thanks, man! I'm not thinking in scales. I think in melodies. Of course it helps to know scales, but as long as it sounds right then you're right on track, lol. I know a lot of scales, but I don't use them like scales, I play across the strings, but also along the neck if you know what I mean? If you listen to it, it might sound like a regular minor pentatonic, but the way I play it depends on where my fingers are in that moment. It takes years of practice... thx 4 watching! :)

  • @CedricIII Oh cool, I'll have to practise a lot then haha! Thanks for the tips :)
