Christopher Reeve was the best and is a tough act to beat. Dean gave it his best shot but he didn't come close to Chris Reeve. I will say one thing. His Superman was better than Brandon Routh's. I think Tom Welling would do a good job as a big screen Superman but it looks like his only connection to Superman will be the Smallville series. Good luck to the new Superman, Henry Cavill. He definately looks like he's fit for the role. Time will tell.

Hey you forgot about "Save Me" (Smallville's Theme Song). :) I love almost every incarnation of Superman (Christopher Reeve's Superman movies, Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman, Superman The Animated Series, Justice League, and Justice League Unlimited, and Smallville). Even the direct-DVD animated Superman movies that Bruce Timm produces!
