My point of view is the guy is dead, and he is saying that god waited "why d;you have to wait" and he is "surrounded, surrounded" by people, but he doesnt understand why god waited until he was dead to come, and why he couldnt save him when everything was just starting to go wrong. But i suppose each person sees it differently thats how i see it :)

Yes God created us, but the reason we are disobedient is because we have allowed ourselves to listen to the devil. He doesnt show himself to us because his pureness and almighty power is to much for the humanly body. It would kill us to be in such power. once we die and go to heaven we will see his face.

To me, it sounds like this guy was all tore up about his girl leaving him. and he was rlly wanting her to call him, or to come back. He left her messages for "years and years and years and years," but she never replied back. So... He committed suicide. And either he's talking about his girl finding him and being too late, or that God was too late to help him out. I guess it could whichever the listener wants it to be. Well, that's the Irony of the idea of God. We say that he is the reason for everything. But if that's true, where did free will go? Is it god's fault they're dead, or is it the Doctor's fault who poisoned Michael Jackson? Is it McDonald's fault for providing food that damages people's hearts and kills them, or is that God/The Devil? It's all very contradictory.

That's what I mean. Why is it the Devil's fault for bad things and not our own? Why is God praised for something that we as humans did ourselves? If it was really his hand in the matter, and not ours, then we don't really have free will. If anything, we have semi will, being able to make certain decisions that don't directly affect us because they have to move through God/The Devil first.

to me this is a bitter atheist song. The man believed in God but God wasnt there for him when he needed him the most. This is how I felt. This is why I've switched religions. I love this song. I can relate to it.

yeah but think about it if "god" excisted and he was creater of all why doesnt he show himself to all.........i will only agree he exsists if he appears at some event that has alot of iews.........and this supreme being that was mentioned might be the actuall universe........so i leave you to think about this question....if "god" really existed then why will he create us to disobey him or to do evil and curuptive thing???....think about that befoer telling me that "god" is almighty and real

Yes God created us, but the reason we are disobedient is because we have allowed ourselves to listen to the devil. He doesnt show himself to us because his pureness and almighty power is to much for the humanly body. It would kill us to be in such power. once we die and go to heaven we will see his face.

To me, it sounds like this guy was all tore up about his girl leaving him. and he was rlly wanting her to call him, or to come back. He left her messages for "years and years and years and years," but she never replied back. So... He committed suicide. And either he's talking about his girl finding him and being too late, or that God was too late to help him out. I guess it could whichever the listener wants it to be. If anyone has their own theory of what it's about, plz reply to my comment.

God is who and what you make of him. I personally don't believe but thats me, I know lots that do. To be honest I think it makes them better people. If god does or doesn't exsist isn't an issue or shouldn't be the belief in him make people want to do the right thing and that is worth dealing with the some times annoying faith of others... at least I think so...

good on you ! i love an believe in god ! one day i was waiting for a bus and it usually comes every 10 minutes but i REALLY needed the toilet and it was held up and took an hour and a half longer (you can imagine how i must have felt) so i prayed to god that the bus would come(not something you pray for but that was all i could think about)and i heard a tingle and looked around and there it was that wonderfull LATE bus!

Well, that's the Irony of the idea of God. We say that he is the reason for everything. But if that's true, where did free will go? Is it god's fault they're dead, or is it the Doctor's fault who poisoned Michael Jackson? Is it McDonald's fault for providing food that damages people's hearts and kills them, or is that God/The Devil? It's all very contradictory.

That's what I mean. Why is it the Devil's fault for bad things and not our own? Why is God praised for something that we as humans did ourselves? If it was really his hand in the matter, and not ours, then we don't really have free will. If anything, we have semi will, being able to make certain decisions that don't directly affect us because they have to move through God/The Devil first.
