You can if you buy them through playstation network. But if you want to do it the cheaper or free way you need custom firmware. Then you can go to any bit torrent site find the game you've been wanting to play's iso or cso. Just have to have a big enough memory card

ok. so i put in my pandora battery and magic memory stick, but on the battery it says: sony (with playstation symbol beside it) below it says "psp" then battery pack(underneath)and the 3.6V 2200mah is it the right battery cause my psp is ver. 4.05 and does not auto start whats wrong somebody please help??? at the begginning (no offense) but it looked like your memory stick was covering up something - perhaps 3.90 "M33-3"? So you arent actually downgrading a 3.90 fw but a 3.90 M33-3 fw!
