Every time I hear this piece of music I cannot but help think of the men who died fighting the evil Germans not so long ago. If those brave young souls had not prevailed on those northern French beaches and eastwards in the ensuing months, our world would be a very different place. God bless them all and may the Germans, although forgiven, never, ever forget.

Vind dit echt fan-tas-tisch. Heel veel respect voor dit zeer strak gespeelde stuk muziek. Elke keer weer gaan mijn haren overeindstaan. Het is voor mensen die de oorlog niet mee hebben gemaakt niet te beschrijven hoe erg het geweest is, maar met de beelden en muziek die door de mensen ontstaan is is het broederschapsgevoel duidelijk daar wanneer ik hier naar luister. Geweldig!
