I'm getting really annoyed with my WRT610N because it wont connect correctly to the Maxon Ethermax Modem, and the Attached Storage is just Confusing...but still a good router but need to get it working.

i got this one to i love it i am 1 gig bite on all my net work my net work is faster then my puter is i am runing win 7 2.8 gig hz *2 4 gig ram . for your ps3 go to google and put in ( pms for ps3 ) this will let you see your puter you can copy to the ps3 or stream you will love this you can copy HD MOVIES IN MVK

with the ps3 it needs to be MUSIC, PICTURE, VIDEO folders sometime even in a PS3 folder first. thats how the ps3 and psp are both setup. Also BHWAHAHA I can give my family the 2.4ghz and leave the 5ghz only to me!! HAHAHA >D

well my question is ........i have the linksys wrt54g2 router and have hooked up a couple of my friends to my network but 1 of them tends to get 1 to 2 bars so wat i want to know is will this hopefully give a better coverage and range so that my friend gets more than 2 bars and will it be faster

not what I was lookin for, but my radar or whatever you people called it. Won't work for my laptop I only have internet on my Desktop not on the laptop. SO what should I do??becaue I plug i everything where is suppost to be plug.But I still don't have Internet access on my laptop just my desktop

The range on the 5GHz band leaves much to be desired. The dongle needed for the 5GHz band has a lousy antenna. My laptop shows full bars when connected to the 2.4GHz n band while using the internal antenna. When using the dongle it only shows one bar on 2.4GHz and will not connect on the 5GHz band. If you are going to be more than one wall away from your router, don't bother with dongle. This test was done one floor up and one room over.

@felicks it doesn't matter, although if you have DOCSYS 3 in your area, that might be something to check out.

i cant figure out if i should get this or a d-link dir 855 getting a router is really confusing :S for some users the router is great and the best on the other hand someone says that its the worst junk ever.. and its pretty much like this with every single router

Nice review Mike. I was going to get this but ended up getting the Airport Extreme which I have since returned to get the Time Capsule for the storage and I got it for only $20 more then the Airport so it was a no brainer for me. Can not wait to your vid on the Airport

We have a wrt610n and its NOT GOOD! It always disconnects from the net / VERY SLOW connection vs. wired with ethernet.

so I am using my old (5yrs old) wrt54G again..

rangewise IT S*CKS.. I dont know why the wrt54g was better than wrt610n... my sisters and my brother complained alot when I installed the wrt610n which was supposed to be better than wrt54g but is not cause they got poor reception in their rooms.

200 dollars wasted!

@craptbern88 hey i just got this and i have the same problem the range is horrible. and im thinking of going back to the old wrt54g. if your are close to the router works like a charm but it defeats the purpose the whole wireless options.

yes but the hub must be able to send power to the drive and most hubs cant

do that so you need to buy the right wan

I ha one of these and i hate a reasonably big house and it doesnt give a good connection around the house, i would recommend the cisco router with threee external antennas which is much better. If you need the model number just tell me
