This is genius. Everything Andy says here is true and everything I've hated and its amazing to see such an amazing and heartfelt performance. Everytime I watch this I react like Maggie does in this scene, I get really teary. And speaking of Maggie, I love all the cutaways to Maggie because I love the relationship between her and Andy, its really sweet when he answers her 'would you rather be...?' question.

I love this scene A) because It so cleverly done, and B) Ricky & Steve not only wrote a truly heart warming scene, But on top of that, they cast the like's of Lisa Scott lee and Chico. These are the exact people (that in really life) Andy Is having a pop at. Do they not have any self awareness Ha ha, I bet Ricky and Steve thought... "Ricky to steve" Do you reckon we can get away with this? "Steve to Ricky Yeah they wont think we talking about them, Cos there really artist Ha ha. : )

tis the extra special special, 80 mins long. was after series 2. too bad u saw this first, that episode was really special. gervais has a gift for making his comedy both funny and more poignant and emotional than any "drama" show out there. the office christmas special gave me the same feeling. unbelievably resonant.

have you seen big brother, the real one I mean, not the copied American one......if you had you would know that the housemates are made aware of were the cameras are....by the fact that they are silver and can be seen hanging from the ceiling following them around. Yes, this was so much needing to be said, and well done Ricky for saying it to the widest audience he possibly could. I am quite prepared to believe that this was one of the main reasons that the most recent UK Big Brother got such pathetic viewing figures. I agree completely. This was a great rant. I personally haven't watched BB since the Goody disgrace. I salute Gervais for saying this. Extras is an excellent show and I loved this special. The Jade doll was famtastic. Great to remind people what BB allowed on the air to get ratings. Shilpa f*cka****a Shilpa P*ppa***. Horrible people who should never be near a TV set, unless they are cleaning it.
