Im jst a lucky Japanese rapper who gt to learn english. So im nt supposed to hav as much understanding to american hiphop as native english speakers n american hiphop lovers. Bt, its jst nt so hard for me to tel that Blue print has talent n hes talkin about the truth. Well, nt only Blueprint, bt the whole rymesayers. I think they are the future of my definition of hiphop. I hope that one day, I can share the stage wit Blueprint n the rappers frm rymesayers. much love to the real hiphopers. Peace
I remember seeing Blueprint at the 09 soundset and imo, his stage presence and performance blew everyone else away. It was really the only performance that made it worth standing in the blazing sun.
Please Tell me it wasn't Paul Strong or Canahda that did that to Blueprint. I seriously hope not. This is the reason why I don't listen to commercial radio.
@jammer897 Rhymesayers Entertainment is a underground hip hop label co-founded by Slug (Sean Daley) from Atmosphere and I believe Siddiq his childhood friend... not 100% on Siddiq but thats just off old memory at 2:30am... FYI... Rhymesayers is the Mecca of underground hip hop :)
If anyone is interested there is a recent article in XXL magazine about the radio industry and why it is repeatitive. Its worth checking if though most of XXL is straight garbage
Just copped radio-Inactive on itunes after watching the video for it on youtube.. Blueprint just gained another fan.. Good shit my man! Keep pushing, keep progressing brutha!!! Bless up!
hell-fuckin-yeah, blue! show them clueless mothafuckas whats up. im sick of hearin the same shit over and over again on the radio. there's a reason they invented mp3 players... so we dont have to listen to that stupid shit 24/7.
@JmoROCKpants Radio will likely soon become a medium only used for news and those who drive a car old enough to still have a radio. I can personally admit i haven't listened to the radio for at least 2 years, not because i dislike it (which i do), but because it has become so much more convenient to do otherwise.
This is very inspiring! I am a Hip Hop producer in NYC who go to beat battles or showcases and Ive been told that my music is "underline Hip Hop" by some big name producers and A&Rs who want to hear more Radio-Pop music beats. Because they wont get that from me, they give me that same BS advice, asking me if I'm sure I want to play my music, and that I need to fit the format of the event. C'mon man.
Work hard, keep living your dream, and supply your passion!
I Have'nt Listen to the Radio Since I've Met Hip Hop If They Started Playin Blueprint and Rhymesayers World Wide I Bet Alot of Kids and Young Adults Would Wake Up and Think About What They're Listening to , Learn to Grow. I'm Very Grateful I Had Older Brother Introducing Me to Music Like Del and Blueprint All of Rhymsayers . Unno If It's me Growing Up or Thinkin To Much But The Music Made Me Look At Life a Lot Differently and a Lot more Friendlier or More Understanding Towards Life/People.

The only reason I don't like radio is because it's ridiculously repetitive. Some new sound would be great.
