Thanks for the tutorial, quick easy fix, luckily my belt only slipped off and I was able to fix it tonight instead of waiting for parts.. Saved me a lot of time and money, thanks
Thank you! My dryer just broke and after some googling, I thought it might be the drum belt, but I had no idea where to start! Thanks to your video, I was able to open up the top of the dryer and sure enough, the belt had snapped. I'm off to Lowe's tomorrow to get a new belt and put it on by myself. Thanks so much!
My husband & I want to thank you so VERY much for this very helpful video! We had called a repair man & he pointed my husband in the right direction as to getting to the belt, as we knew that it broke. Once he got to it he was like, how do I put a new one on? Well this video is so straight forward & simple that you just saved us a TON of money in having to pay a repairman! Especially this time of year with the holidays! Thank you thank you thank you!
i just about went out and bought a new dryer but you saved me from that plus boosted my confidence in being able to fix things myself - thank you SO much!!! pat

Thank you very much sir for your help. I only wish i would have looked at this video before i too the whole back off lol but still very helpfull and i think this video shows testimate to what good can come of youtube and the internet.
Thanks so much! I can't believe I was able to do this! It saved me $70.00!!! I also found $1.22, a paper clip and a Chucky Cheese token!! Didn't know I was going to find treasure!!!!
Thank you so much. My old dryer died and I bought a new-to-us used dryer which stoped working after 4 dryer loads. I was not impressed and didn't really have then money to fix it or replace it and after just buying it didn't want to put more money into it. So I looked up what the problem might be on-line and then found your you tube video. Bought a $20 belt watched your video and voula. It made me feel like super women fixing my own dryer. Woo hoo. Thanks Rebecka
Thanks. This was a great help. Just finished re-belting the dryer. Piece of cake thanks to your video. Only difference I found was the tension pulley was not a wheel on my Kenmore, but a rounded half-circle that belt just slides across. But I got the belt around it and it's drying now. (My wife's pretty happy with me.)
Thank you so much for this video .. I wanted to surprise my husband and have it fixed before he came home tonight lol.. thanks a lot for making this video!!
My drawer broke. I was on craigslist pricing em out. Found this video. Opened my dryer and the belt is snapped. Getting the belt tomorrow. This should fix it. Thank you so much.
Thank you so much, I heard my dryer's belt break and found your video. Going to Home Depot for the belt in the morning I already got my dryer taken apart by following your video.
I just have to agree with all of the other folks on here, you made it so easy to do myself, my belt didn't break, but it did come off the pulley, i am a single mom, who is somewhat handy and really didn't have money to have someone in to fix this, so you made it so easy. Thanks again!
THANKS!!! Your video helped guide me through replacing my drum belt and even though I had to wait a few days (found one online for 5.89) I was able to do it all by myself!!! Hear me RAWRRRRR!
This video was so good that my daughter and I was able to change the dryer belt no problem. I had started before I looked at the video and had the belt and all there but there was a little thing that not doing and I could not figure it out but once I watched the video we had it up and running in 10 minutes. Awesome
Thanks man ! That was awesome ! You just saved me $100 in labour ! Only cost me $25 for the belt. Did it solo no probs ! Great instruction ! What other tips do you have ?? Lol !
Thank You! Mine just broke on my older Kenmore. Found the belt online for under $5.00 with delivery to my door and with your video I fixed it in half your time. Back in business again.
Oh my goodness! Thank you so much! After taking apart the whole dryer the first time and trying to wrap the belt around the drum and still the drum back in the dryer this is soooo much easier and less time consuming. =D
Thank you so much for making this video. I was at a loss of how to loop the belt and pully. You helped me save a lot of money now that i dont need to call the repair man.

Thanks! Great video... saved my weekend! My dryer belt popped off the motor (thankfully did not break) at 6 PM on Saturday- with wet laundry in the washer. Found your video and it was fixed in 10 minutes! Life saver (and wallet)! Have a great day! -Jeff
Great video easy to follow, but you make it look so damn easy to put the belt through the pulley and around the motor. I've been working on that step for over an hour and I haven't come any closer to getting it, my arms are on fire I feel like I've been working out for several hours. Is there a step I'm missing or is this an easier way of doing this, or are you just Incredible Hulk strong
Thank you for your video to help me replace my dryer belt. I never realized $15.00 later I would have my dryer back up and running. You don't know how much I appreciate it. I'm a woman, and if I can do it, anyone can with the help of your video. You ROCK!!!

Thank you! Just finished putting a new belt ($20) on my older Kenmore dryer, and I'll bet I get another 10 good years from it! You're right about having two people, much easier...I'd also add that while you have everything apart, give it a quick vacuum...I can't believe all the dust that was in there!
thanks awesome vid it helped me. im a first time home owner figuring out problems as i go. the belt wasnt broke but the tensioner came off and made a heck of a noise. i think it came loose cause its an old dryer that came with the house and its all coming apart and missig screws causing to much movement of the drum
Your video was perfect, but I would suggest putting the models this applies to since there are so many different dryer repair videos on here. My idler puller just fell off the mount somehow and I could not figure out how to route the belt, your video was great for my brand new Roper dryer. Thanks
Thanks a lot!!! My dryer was making squeeking noises, I opened the top cover as per your instructions and sprayed some dressing on to the belt and now the dryer is working beautifully.
Thank you so much!!!! This video saved me from paying hundreds of dollars. In this economy, it is nice to get a little help sometimes. Kudos to you!!!!!
Thanks for that great video. I used a piece of twine through the two holes at the front top and under the drum to hold the drum in place when putting the belt through the pulleys and putting the front back on.
