Yes. Will played a number of local venues back in the late 40s, early 50s when I lived in Ft. Worth. A real nice guy. (You see, I really AM olderngod!)

Thanks for letting me know about the reposting of this gem. The pics in the slide show of the mother in overalls feeding her baby in the fields could have been me. I was born in Dec. of 1936 & the following June July and Aug. my mother and my siblings would go live on a farm & pick berries & beans to earn money for family necessities. I would be napping in a buggy while the rest of the family picked. You have done an outstanding job & I resent my e-mail to my friends to view this tribute.

So many of my friends are sending me e-mails saying how much they are enjoying the music and the pictures. I told them how touched I was by the pictures you selected because I can relate to the two with the mother in overalls feeding her babe in the field and the one of the children picking berries in the field....I was very moved when those pictures appeared on the screen to be it felt like my late husband and mother were sending me a special mother's day gift.
