jag has 24" scale length, single coil pickups similar to a strat, and one on/off switch for each pickup and a bass cut switch. controls are chrome bound. sounds slightly brighter than a strat.

jazz has 25.5" length, huge single coil pickups. simpler 3 way toggle switch. sounds mellower than your average fender.
