60s songs that had great harmonies, like this one, did very well on Billboard charts, from BOTH sides of the Atlantic !! Think about groups such as The Beach Boys, The Beau Brummels, Bobby Fuller Four, The Cascades, The Dave Clark Five, Herman's Hermits, New Colony Six, The Seekers, and the Tremeloes to name just a few. What a GREAT decade for music, one of the BEST ....
Just heard that Dickie (Glen Dale) has just had to have a leg amputated. Thinking of you Dickie, Geoff and Ann Reynolds nee Wraight, your old mates from Newtown. Would love to hear from you again Dickie, leave a message. Geoff
I seem to remember that, in the days of offshore radio, Radio London (or possibly Radio Caroline) used this track as a code for the supply boat to come out when they'd run short of something, or they had some other kind of problem aboard.
@mrmjb1960 this became a stereo 45 in the 70s with here it comes again on the flip which was on a seperate 45 initialy the picture in the playlist is the same one on the album cover

...Back in the day when ever I got to ride in the car with my Pop he would
...always have me turn the radio on very LOW...but somehow when this song
...came on he would say to me turn it up louder...

Gotta love those power harmonies from '65. Late night transistor radio time.
Thanks for posting, Nocaro :)

Glen Dale, who was a member of the group when this came out, used to be in a band with my brother playing around Kent in the early 60s.
They both had the chance to join The Fortunes, my brother decided not to!!!!!!

They'd also had a "Comeback" hit in the US with "Here Comes That Rainy Day Feeling Again",in 1971.

We definitely all have our troubles. But I don't think about them when I'm enjoying my music here on You Tube. Love this song.
