  • Cost of Chinese goods are fucking cheap because, they do not follow any compliance or rule. They take shortcuts, they eliminate details that can create cost. Their farm grown fish is GMO and definitely unhealthy to consume. However traders look at different way. They see the huge profit margin and prioritize china goods. However those traders wont consume such goods after seeing how they have been made.

  • @EvilCommunistChina right on! the Chinese are cheap ! cheeeeeeaaap.

  • Appreciation the love for China!

  • Tariffs, Tariffs, Tariffs

  • All is needed is a tariff on Chinese products. The World Bank and IMF demands that imports be allowed to destroy Brazil's industries. Globalization is the motive, and it is being accomplished through trade. No western country can compete with Asia.

  • @louiethegreater they work $1 day and cup rice

  • @GalaticSpaceHero Unless the Brazilian people can stop free trade in their country. Asia will completely dismantle every industry in Brazil. The goal of free trade is a common global wage. If free trade exists, eventually equilibrium in wages, lifestyles and living standards will be reached. That is the goal of the IMF and World Bank.

  • The world feeding the Chinese by buying their lead tainte cheap shit.

  • @Pedro123545 guess where the keyboard u are typing on is made in ?

  • @GuanYu89 my cheap shit keyboard is made in one of the thousands of sweat shops using Chinese slaves in China.

  • @MTSK56 since when do 'slaves' get paid huh?

  • @GuanYu89 20 HRS PER DAY 4 DOLLARS?? IS THAT A PAY? :D

  • @RamirezRobertoPerez its nothiing USA we lost about 50 million positions while Chinese propaganda say we gain 2 million. the business goes China. Need raise cost fuel and raw materials to them offset lost revenue.

  • @MTSK56 yea my clothes was made by some 9 year old kid working sweat shop for .10 cents hr i feel sorry for them

  • Difference is, US's manufacturing base is close to gone and because of high tarifs, Brazilian manufacturing base is quiet alive, but struggles. The US needs to get it's act together and Brazil needs a tax reform that hindes their own base, because soon or later, the Chinese Yuan will gain in value (it's a matter of time) and will get so strong that Chinese products will be to expensive to import. Good news is if you have a strong manufacturing base is that China will buy your cheaper products.

  • It should be Brazilian consumers sinking Brazil's fishish sector. You see folks, it's similar like here in the US. In both nations, USA and Brazil, the consumers want CHEAP toys, Ipods, Iphones, dvd's, computers and cheap food. Since Chinese government is the boss over it's people, it decide how much the chinese people earn and we all know that's peanuts. Nobody can compete with slave labor. Cheap is, easy gain, easy pain in the long term. That's how jobs in those nations disappear.

  • I am sure Brazil will export more and more to China as Chinese become richer and more urban, they will need more food to feed the cities. Look at this relationship as a long-term investment, already 50% of China's population are urbanized, It wouldn't be long, however the government also need to ensure the industry can survive until then or drawing Chinese investors into Brazilian fishery.

  • This terrorist news aka Aljezera is anti-China.

  • Let's have a look at the facts: China is 12.5% of Brazil's total exports and 12.6% of its imports. however, Brazil exports more than it imports by billions so it's pretty much even or even slanted in favour of Brazil. In contrast, the US makes up 16.1% of Brazil's imports but only 10.5% of its exports. Where's the US-bashing stories from Al Jazeera on THAT? Nowhere to be found of course.

  • Wow... what a biased propaganda/news story. It's called TRADE. Some industries will always lose out. The guy in the video picked the wrong one to be in.

It's not doom and gloom for Brazil-Chinese trade overall though as this piece of yellow journalism would have you believe. China is Brazil's #1 export destination, and Brazil's trade balance is actually POSITIVE. So obviously they're benefiting as a whole from trading from the Chinese. Report the whole story next time Al Jazeera.

  • ROFL. Economic genocide.

  • China products look good but hits nothing.

  • Brazilians have also let europeans and asians dominate their car sector. They dump their market and the profits are taken out again. How can they call themselves a power?

  • "they took er jerb"

  • Follow the bread crumbs back to corrupt politicians.

  • Its called competence....china gonna dominate once string of pearls completed its goods thru shipping will be more cheap.learn from china.its called proper utilisation of poverty which is not possible in a democratic, welfare oriented nation

  • @kommireddypavan utilisation of poverty is competence? It could well be argued that the most economically vulnerable people of china are being sacrificed for this so called competence, and now not only their own people but also the vulnerable people of the world. It all looks great from the high rise view of beijing, not so pretty when you view it from the slums. There is a historical reason why welfare was championed, however flawed the system may have morphed into.

  • @londontonton Sacrificed? Do you know how many people have been lifted out of poverty in recent years? You used to start to death eating dirt in China.

  • @what77777 Conveniently taking a word out of context and shifting the historical point of reference to fit your argument is neither clever nor correct. I grant you yes going from 80%+ poverty rate in the 80's to less than 20% poverty rate is a wonderful thing. The people surely deserved to be delivered from the great sufferings, the point is today, those that are impoverished in china and elsewhere are denigrated to be marginalised. ..cont

  • Comment removed

  • @londontonton How am I taking things out of context? Yes, there's impoverished in China. They even exist in US, Qatar, Norway, etc despite those countries being filthy rich (per capita). The fact is that there's far less impoverished today than even 5 years ago. If the trend were to tilt to the opposite you'd have a point.

  • @what77777 The trend is, rich are getting richer, corporations are getting bigger. Let me guess, you're also a Dalai lama hater right?

  • @londontonton The richer are getting richer? So? The poor are getting richer too. The pie is becoming less evenly divided sure, but it's also getting bigger very quickly. That's what happens with capitalism, which is why China's gini index is close to the USA's and is actually lower than Hong Kong's yet no one seems to shit talk their system because it's british derived lol.

  • @londontonton And yup. There's nothing wrong with being a Dalai Lama hater. A lot of people know he's full of shit. People like Penn and Teller and Michael Parenti (yale graduated historian). The guy took millions of dollars from the CIA in the 50s and 60s to agree to wage a guerilla war against China. Having lost, he flees to India and pretends to be a peaceful monk, having profited from the blood of others so he could become a millionaire. Despicable really.

  • @what77777 I don't know which is worst: that you are paid to big up china and troll the internet where contrary views are found, or that CCP has actually gotten so effectively inside your head that it has become your belief. Either way, at least I know this conversation is pointless. btw the two referees you sited were both paid handsomely by you know who. China has already benefited by raping the natural resource in tibet to the tune of billions (that is more than millions). Bye.

  • @londontonton Ah here come the personal attacks when you've been outplayed on every front. Michael Parenti was paid by who? Come on say it. If you're going to make a ridiculous accusation, then go open with it not so snidely. I sense a pattern of claiming that anyone who argues with you is a CCP-paid shill. God how big your ego must be. Bye indeed.

  • BRIC should be working with eachother, not "sinking" eachothers industries!

  • CHEAP SHIT FOR ALL

  • NO ONE CAN STOP THE PRODUCTIVE ECONOMIC JUGGERNAUGHT CHINA BRAZIL WILL BE ECONOMICALLY GENOCIDED

  • @Abbadon380 Turn your caps lock off, and go Google genocide.

  • @eedobee i KNOW genocide China will destroy Bzils economy

  • why complain? consumers benefit from the lower prices. local Brazillian suppliers: well, ...

Hey! You guys should import some Chinese philosophy too. 'yin' and 'yang' always come together. you cannot have one without the other.

  • Don't hate the player ,hate the game .

  • "Chinese fillet..." :-\ Be careful when you eat...

  • China = Cheap Shit

  • @murk2002 Same shit, better price.

  • @murk2002 der da der

  • CHINA STRONG

  • Chink

  • Follow the money......

  • i would be careful about fish from the pacific (china, etc) because of fukushima. i only buy fish from canada and alaska. also, spend more money and buy local!

  • beware of communist chinese world.

    anil Reddy

  • more anti-china propaganda. blame the brazilian government for allowing it to happen. dont blame china.

  • @GuanYu89

I agree. The fact is, China produces cheap goods because we allow them to. If we demanded quality shit by non exploited labor prices would go up but it would protect domestic jobs. Instead, poor people shoot themselves in the foot and buy at Walmart or whatever instead of buying local goods. China doesn't care about its people, that much is clear. They just wan't to increase their wealth, build their military, destroy the U.S. and conquer the world like the U.S. is now. : )

  • @GuanYu89 Chinese fishing boats operating illegally in foreign fisheries is commonplace in Korea, Japan, and the west coast of Africa.

  • @JuanVoyce

"Korean vessels and fishermen are frequently involved in destructive or illegal fishing activities elsewhere and recent reports have included incidents of infringements as far afield as West Africa, the Pacific and the Mediterranean."

"Japan's insatiable appetite for seafood and bluefin tuna in particular is coming at a cost to Australia. It's estimated that illegal fishing by the Japanese fleet has cost an incredible $10 billion just in bluefin stocks alone"

  • @GuanYu89 All under heaven. Despite its 5000 year history China has not completed the transition to a written culture. It has what linguists call a "high oral residue". Typical Chinese don't use written language as the main means of communication, they lack proclivity for abstract thought, they can't infer principle from written text; they learn by action--and by seeing the positive or negative results of those actions. This deficit is partly why they cheat and lie about everything.

  • @JuanVoyce: Sounds like white Jews!

  • @JuanVoyce i talk about illigal fishing. and then u reply with this subject about written language blah blah blah. wtf?

  • @GuanYu89 As I looked into the fishing thing more I found a lot of other stuff about Chinese cheating/lying in other areas. Of course everyone does it but the Chinese are stand outs at blatant cheating in sports, exams, manufacturing, etc. But not only do they disregard behavioral norms, but also their own health and safety (most medical doctors smoke, everyone jay walks, etc). Digging further, I found a Chinese doctor who offered the above theory to explain all this irrational behavior.

  • @JuanVoyce OMFG. do u want me to name u every major athelete in the world who was found guilty of doping? ive cheated in my exams since i was fuckin 6yrs old...so who gives a fuck? how the hell can u 'cheat' in manufacturing? holy fuck LOL! u are obviously a dumbass typical american LOL. fuckin yanks. stop invading countries based on lies and slaughtering their women and children

  • @GuanYu89 You couldn't have given a better example of Chinese irrational reasoning.

  • @JuanVoyce lol is that all? pfft

  • @GuanYu89 Yeah, that's all I got. You win.

  • interesting "reporting". just what exactly is the news here? what is happening now that has not happened before in one form or another?

  • @3CStrategy

Well the reality is that China IS destroying the Brazilian fishing industry by dumping 150'000 tons a year on Brazilian shores. Thats Brazilian governments fault. The problem is that Chinese are willing to work below reasonable wages, and there is really no minimum wage law enforced. This country will single handily bring down the rest of the world, in a disguise that pretends doing business with China is profitable and in good interest of the people.

  • Didn't know there where so many fish in the sea . Seems like a lot of fish being eaten .

  • MOST OF THIS FISH WAS STOLEN FROM KOREAN WATERS...

  • The people of Brazil do get cheaper fish which allows them to invest in products they can export to China. That's why trade is a good thing.

  • China is invading the economic market wow ! reminds me of Sid Meyers Civilization game .

  • Looks like Brazil is net on the bankers list .Destroy the economy then take over.

  • I would pay the extra money for health reasons.

  • What do you need The Japanese for, when you got The Peoples Republic

  • Why not mention Brazil's import sinking Chinese soy beans industry?

  • @longmarchguy Chinese don't have Soy Beans, they only have Rice.

  • @longmarchguy because that is not the case.

  • @longmarchguy fuck soy

  • Globalism means profits for international statesmen, stock traders and bankers, and the destruction of authentic culture, replacing them with a uniform pop-culture and 'Americanisation'.

    Sucky or what..

  • All food should be consumed locally. China is highly polluted, no one should be eating their food.

China also has slave labor, I wouldn't trust any cooked up statistics about the cost of their products.

  • Anything China touches turns to shit.

  • @iChanging i am sure you were touched by China too, that's why you turned into a piece of shit.

  • Should be titled, "Brazilian Gov't allows fishing industry to sink."

  • What a nice friend!

  • Listen if more humanities grow a brain they can ''FISH FARM''.The depletion of the ocean life can be stopped and the fished raised in artificial environments will still be top of the line quality.

  • @JumpnEvolution Explain how the "FISH FARM" can complete with regular Fishermen who only boat out and harvest, whist the farms take a hit on the growing of the live stock before harvest.

  • @londontonton -if and when the fisherman can come together they can form a cooperative that works together-it may take all that they have financially to start but it would be highly beneficial to all cooperative members as they would have shares. In some nations the government forgets they are YOUR servants also so they need to be reminded or get their ass kicked a little to remember who's boss if thats what it itakes.

  • @JumpnEvolution I am interested in hearing a solution, but as this vid article highlights, the imported fish costs half the price of domestically sold fish. I would think that with the cost of land, water treatment, feed etc the cost of farmed fish will be astronomical in comparison. So when you say "If/when fishermen..." The missing word is "ALL fishermen", I don't see how you are bridging ideology with reality.

  • Why can't people see we are just a complicated form of mold, that eats the earth like any other type of bacteria? We are not special. I know we have a subjective mind and can stop all this, blah blah blah, my money is on we are going to destroy ourselves. Sorry folks.

  • Deregulate the fishing industry. Lower the taxes for the fisherman and processing plants. Then they can compete with China.

  • Another bit of evidence Socialism kills. The Great Leap forward in Socialism the Brazil leaders boast about. Socialism works as long as other people's money last. When taxes are raised to astronomical levels people will cheat, the economy will be driven underground. That will bring on more Government control and attacks on freedom. Eventually the economy will collapse. This has happened over and over in South America, in my lifetime. Equal opportunity not equal things. Deregulate!!!

  • Anti-Chinese propganda once again!

  • @RayKalmNiam No doubt

  • @RayKalmNiam Every video about China in Aljeezera is always negative

  • Sure blame China. If China is bringing lots of imports, it means that Brazilians are IMPORTING the fish.. its not like China is holding a gun to them and forcing them to buy Chinese fish.. if Brazil really cared about their fish industry they would buy from Brazil... easy peasy

  • @JogBird their government needs to eliminate all these taxes and regulations holding back the Brazil fishing economy and make them competitive.

  • the brazillian government must think it's worth it. unless they've been bribed.

  • China rule the world(UN) all other are just fooling them self. you are all world citizen, fuck your country and your nation, you are made for china.

  • But what they are not saying is that over 80% of Chinese Companies are US or Canadian Financed!!!

  • give tax breaks to local farmers.

  • it's sad seeing stuff like this happening all around the world......

    it's all about the money.

  • All thanks to Globalization, New World Order, and Outsourcing.

  • I was the first to dislike this... I am brazilian.

  • @TheNegoFeio, esperou que ello nao so o 1eiro p'ra te dar um 'polegares acima'. boa sorte...

  • Can you blame China ? They are the world Walmart (Save money live better )

  • fuck free market

  • Outsourcing ruins domestic economies.

What these capitalists dont understand (cause they dont think along the lines of right for humans) is that profits are relative.

If you erode your base by dismantling factory sectors and increasing unemployment then you will loose all your profit due to lack of purchasing power of the civilians your feeding off of.

Not to mention the fact that the people of a nation are always stronger than any one part of the nation. If they turn on you ur boned.
