Apparently the sellers' line on this is that every time Apple orders in stock from Foxconn, there's a surplus of cases that then go to other places to be repackaged and sold, hence the dodgy looking packaging. Sounds a bit suspicious to me but interesting if it's true.

@1LittleLilith My comment: Fake ones suck. why? 1. the bottom completely cracked open, i cannot even use it right now 2. the power button is not aligned correctly in the inside making the power button hard to press 3. the color is not right, it is not true white

Pro: it has rubber on the side, protects the phone, holes cut aligned properly

It's fake cause there's no metal apple logo at the front and there's no barcode on the back. Hope this helps.

Yeah its a fake. the real ones just say "Apple Bumpers" and has the Apple logo.

Lots of these kicking around on Ebay so be cautious.

Still looks good though and at the fraction of the cost.

mine apple bumper had an metal-color apple logo, but I bought mine on ebay shipped from China, still suspect it's fake, but it looks 100% as the real one. + the real ones are also made in China.
