Well I'm up here in NB Canada and we are so over run where I live with coyotes they have put a cull on them I'm currently layed off for the winter so I've been out almost everyday hitting them. Our whitetail populatin is dwindling and rabbits are scarce due to the over population of these predators. I can never understand why these Anti-gun,anti-hunting idiots watch these videos if all they are going to bitch. There's tons of videos of butterfly's and unicorns and what ever exists in there fair

I lived in San Bernardino California for a while and seen LOTS of coyotes. However, it seems to me that the ones that have migrated to the East Coast are a lot bigger than the ones out west..

The reasons for hunting will vary, but the bottom line is that we do it for the fun of it and , or the fellowship of likeminded friends. With respect, I do hunt coyotes and bobcats being carefull not to completly wipe them out. They have a purpose in the echo system . Here in Tennessee we are the only predator of coyotes, so we help keep the balance

@zeuszx - I'd suggest you 1st start reading as much info as you can online. Then view some videos. Move on to buying some predator hunting books and read a little bit. Get yourself a call and start praticing with it. Finally, if nothing else works, ask a professional guide to help you get started.

@TheDodgeRocks yeah me too , where i love , they have a food shortage , so they attack our allmost extinct caribou heard , they kill our livestock , sheep cattle , even horses, they chase and run moose into bog , slow them down and just eat their trought , they are a very WASTEFU L species , this past month a girl was killed and the coyotes ate her throat , and leg muslces thats it , now theres a province wide bounty $40 per carcass all season long ...... i have made close to $300 this season!
