@ razrbladefaerie: I know, but when a horse finally really tries and you get a good attempt, you must stop for a minute to let them think about it. Also this was her first stoptraining and she was doing the fencing for about 10 to 15 minutes here (if I remember correctly, it's a while ago already)

when you teach a horse to stop, you should back them up afterwards. that will get them thinking back up instead of stop and they will slide.
