Hey I thought you can only cancel EX moves? The kick that Ken does at the end was a normal kick was it not? How was he able to cancel that move too?

you can focus attack cancel anything

no you cant

there are certain moves like the Tatsu that you cant cancel because they are in the air

you can cancel most moves but not all.

Best piece of advice I can offer is dont rely on FADC (Focus Attack Dash Canceling) There are only a few moves that will make it worth the 2 stocks, like Ryu/Ken: Jab Shoryu- FADC- Ultra

only because there ultras can be tricky to land and only use if you will win or drop them down below like %10 health, EX stock can save your life if you need, use it wisely

you can focus cancel almost any move as long as its on the ground. And its not EX moves, they flash yellow like an ex move when they cancel, thats why you thought that. and it wouldnt make sense to cancel an ex move because the fact that EX takes 1 stock and the cancel takes 2 so there is 3 stocks wasted for something that is gonna be damage scaled down bad. Its best not to really cancel normal moves because the cost of it there are very few if any normal moves that you want to FADC.
